Mega Charizard X now available​

Main article: Mega Charizard X joins the fray in Pokémon UNITE — Obtain its Unite License by completing event missions​

Mega Charizard X, a separate Unite license from Charizard's regular Unite License, is now available as the latest playable character in Pokémon UNITE. It is a Melee All-Rounder with Beginner difficulty that deals Physical damage and can Mega Evolve for a short while after using its Unite Move Seismic Slam.

To celebrate the introduction of Mega Evolution licenses, a special event in-game event will be held till November 14th, where players can complete missions to earn the Unite license for Mega Charizard X.

New Held Items​

Two new Held items have been added to the game:

• Big Root — Boosts the self-healing effect of the Pokémon holding it.
  
  
• Tenacity Belt — Increases Defense and Sp. Defense of the Pokémon holding it when it is affected by a hindrance.
  
  

Battle Pass Season 35​

A new Battle Pass for Season 35 is now available to buy in Pokémon UNITE. This Battle Pass runs from September 4th through to October 15th, and features the "Dark Lord Style: Darkrai" and "Costume Style: Mew". New trainer outfits such as the "Dark Lord Set" and background and frames will also be available.

Pokémon Legends Z-A save data bonus​

Players of the Nintendo Switch / Nintendo Switch 2 versions of Pokémon UNITE can claim a special Trainer Fashion set matching the protagonist of Pokémon Legends: Z-A if they have save data for both games. This save data bonus gift can be claimed until November 16th.

Players of the mobile versions of Pokémon UNITE can instead participate in a "Pokémon Legends: Z-A Commemorative event". By logging in for up to 5 days during the event period, they can claim an Unite Snapshot frame, stickers featuring the Lumiose first partner Pokémon, and a Prism Tower background.

Trainer Icon event​

Join Unite Battles using Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise by November 6th to obtain Trainer Icons featuring all stages of the Kanto first partner Pokémon.

New trainer fashion​

• Dryad Set — Players who purchase the premium Dryad Set Event Pass (for
  
  999 Aeos Gems) can complete the event missions by November 6 to obtain the Dryad Set.
• Meowscarada Set — Meowscarada Set will be available thorough the Treasure Chest Challenge. Every weekend through November 6, the chance of winning Grade 3 and 4 treasure chests will be greatly increased.
• Celestial Set — Celestial Set can be obtained as a reward in the "Lucky Ice Pops" event.

New and Returning Holowear​

• Performer Style: Dragapult — Available through the Treasure Chest Challenge
• Super Suit Style: Charizard — Available through the Treasure Chest Challenge
