Ok, I'm watching the newest dub episode of XY on the DVR that recorded this morning, and I started noticing lots of interactions between Pikachu and Dedenne that would suggest the need for shipping. I'm not usually one to ship outside of Jesse x James or anything, but there is just something cute about the two electric rodents.

While things started off rough between them, Pikachu clearly shows that he is concerned for Dedenne's safety and puts lots of effort into protecting it from Team Rocket. Clearly a romance could be brewing there; does anyone else feel the same way?

Hints: Dedenne often cheers for Pikachu.
