It is pretty cute looking, don't take offence to this but I think it looks like something nintendo could sell on a baby towel. I like it, it's nice, plus there's wingull there. so that's a plus with me! ^_^
Thanks. :-D I've never been very good at coloring/shading so this is pretty good for me. I used Ditto as a bit of an experiment though. I don't have Photoshop at home to do fancy computer coloring with so I'm stuck with my colored pencils I guess...and I'm gonna try to concentrate more on shading in my next pic...speaking of which, I have a scene in mind for it that involves a tree, so that'll be a nice test.
If you can color good with pencils, you should certainly workj out that skill (said by someone who barely knows what to do with a pencil :-D ) I agree with bell02 alpha that it looks like something for a babytowel, really cute with soft colors. If I get a baby (please not too soon *scares away*) I want to use one for it. I really advice you to try out shading, it would make it look good.
It does kind of look like a towel! I actually like that effect a lot... This is a nice cute and soft coloring style... it'd be hard to color like that. I really admire this piccie! ^^
This is a really cute picture. ^_^
I think the wingull looks the best, but the whole pic is really nice.
And the coloring is really soft. I agree with the people who said this could use some shading, but as is it's still a really good coloring job. ^^
No offense, but it looks like you colored the entire picture with Crayola crayons. A bit bolder outlines would make the Pokemon stand out, considering there is a semi lack of shading to make them stand out. It is nice that you did do a background though, and the picture at least has more to it than say, white space. I guess maybe what I would like to point out is that your picture is good, but focus on coloring and either shading or outlines.
That's the best I can do with the colored pencils without pressing down hard on them to make the colors bolder, and likely breaking the leads most of the time. The unscanned version looks better...colored pencil pics don't scan well, but it's all I have. Maybe I'll do a pencil-shaded one later...
I like the soft colors you used. You did a great job on Wingull. As others have pointed out, shading would have gave the pic a nice look, but overall your drawing is nice. ^^
Overall, your picture has a fairly nice, soft, feel to it. One thing that I wanted to suggest, was perhaps outlining the critters and inking them up. I pressume the main focus was them, so maybe having them stand out will help the overall picture. Shading would also be a thing to look at, but I don't want to go on. I really like the soft, happy feel to it, though. Nice job.
Yeah I was thinking of using markers before, but I know they're hard to color with and make it turn out good...but maybe I could use them just for outlining...
You never actually have to press hard with pencil crayons, though you might have to if you have a small pencil crayon set. *Has 65* (It might help if you scanned on a higher res to minus the white spaces.) As for the outlining you mentioned, please for the love of whatever god of whatever belief system you have, do not outline with them. Use black ink pens. They're cheap, they work, and if you get a felt tip one, they should give you a nice, even line.
