Why am I not surprised.

Are you saying "Planet of the Apes" may come true?

Actually, it's probably because humans have a longer life-span and can take their time.

Well duh, chimps develop faster. I think all animals develop faster than humans.

Actually, there's a species of jellyfish that is literally immortal.

Whoa. Now that's kinda cool.

I'm not really surprised about this; chimps do develop faster than we do. But it does highlight the fact that parents need to interact with their offspring. Just giving them "the basics" won't cut it in the long run.

Nah, there's something more involved. We adopt puppies and kittens--hell, even chimps--long before they are adults and they turn out fine. Guess all it takes is love.
