I'm surprised there wasn't a thread on it already, I was actually looking for one on one of the sites I go to, cause I kept hearing references here and there but didn't know what the incident exactly was. I figured google would just get me a lot of things joking about it rather than the story itself, which it did, but finally found something:

WARNING: THIS AUDIO CONTAINS GRAPHIC LANGUAGE

You may remember that Christian Bale went nuts on the set of "Terminator Salvation" a few months back, threatening to stop production and beat some serious ass.

The incident was audiotaped, and it's amazing. It happened on the set after a director of photography accidentally ruined a scene by walking onto the set. Bale lost it, screaming, yelling and threatening to quit if the bosses didn't fire the dude.

Film execs sent the tape to the insurance company that insured the film in case Bale bailed.

So what do you think? I am personally very shocked, I mean I heard about the family assault thing, but I figured that was just some stupid thing the media was blowing out of proportion and it blew over in a week, which it did.

This truly is scary, I'd hate to be on that set I'd literally be thinking he was about go Patrick Bateman on their asses. It may have brought some respect points down, but for all I know he could have had some other stuff going on or been on PCP or something. Even if he may be a jerk in real life, he's very talented and I've never seen a film where I didn't like him.

Some people say this ruined the hype for T4, but not for me! I've actually recently gotten into that franchise and I remember before even hearing that there was gonna be a 4th one, randomly thinking that he should be the older John if there is one. How funny is that.

Hope they work the whole thing out... as much as I am looking forward to T4, I'll have to try hard not to think about that incident when watching it. But if it is as good as the other ones and as good as the trailer makes it out to be I'm sure I'll have forgotten about it a half hour in.

Discuss.

Wow, what a rant. But it makes sense to me, I guess. I may have to put on my thoughts on this later.

I heard this earlier today.

Maybe my Hollywood news isn't up to snuff because I don't pay attention to it at ALL, but is it just me, or are the media /looking/ for every bit of problem that happens to Bale since he punched that guy or however the story went?

Shit, who's idea was it to make an Entertainment forum... oh well.

People are stupid, this is just the same as my thoughts on the whole Micheal Phelps issue.

Parents need to learn to teach their kids how to have role models properly, teach them to make up their own minds and decisions on what is right and wrong, not blindly fallow Miley Cirus, or Britney Spears, or what ever celebrity they deem child appropriate. These are people, not some things or gods, all that kind of pressure does is drive people to act out and set whoever up for disappointment.

Who the fuck cares that Christian Bale threw a temper-tantrum for a guy ruining a scene. How do you feel at school when you work on a group project or website and everyone gets assignments, but when it comes time to present, the guy printing the project, or the people running the webservers are dicking around. I'm sure you'd be pissed as well. I know i'd be pissed if I was working on some project and the guy that is suppose to help me spills the coffee they were suppose to get me all over my computer.

Maybe I wouldn't immediately snap, but if I was already really stressed out over something I sure as hell would. As long as he can still get the job done, it's fine, but I think people just put celebrities on too high of a pedestal when all they are trying to do is live a life as anyone else. Nothing to be envious about, nothing to really praise.

Same with Michael Phelps, why stop the double standard if you are going to have one. I'm sure every one of us knows someone or has done something very illegal but didn't do anything about it. Sure it was bad for him, especially being an athlete, and now he has to have something happen either with community service or some kind of punishment, but any one else and this would have went without notice. I mean it's college, but it's another double standard anyways to have things like pot illegal and cigarettes legal.

But I don't know, I just think all this kind of stuff is stupid.
