Pokémon Masters EX is putting a spotlight on the three Gym Leaders of Striaton City's Gym with the new Triple Hospitality Solo Event, along with a Triple Feature Variety Scout featuring the debuts of Cilan & Simisage, Chili & Simisear, and Cress & Simipour.

Variety Scouts
The Triple Feature Variety Scout and Variety Tiered Scout will run through to November 9th, at 9:59pm (PST), while the associated Variety Guarenteed Ticket Scout will continue until November 16th, at 9:59pm (PST).

5★ Cilan & Simisage, 5★ Chili & Simisear, and 5★ Cress & Simipour are each being released with an expanded sync grid, the ability to be raised to 6★ EX, and the ability to unlock a EX Role when raised to 6★ EX. While being the first debuts of these pairs, these are all still classes as Variety Pairs, and so do not have EX Styles when raised to 6★ EX, nor their own individual sync pair stories (unless you count the story content from the new Triple Hospitality Solo Event).

As normal for Variety Scouts, 5★ sync pairs have a 7% chance of appearing in these scouts.

The Triple Feature Variety Scout includes a daily discount, where players can perform a single scout for ×100 paid gems. This daily discount can be used once per day during the entire length of the scout. The first three times players perform a Sync Pair Scout ×11 for this scout, they will also receive the following bonus presents:
  • 1st-3rd Scouts: Move Candy Coin ×1
The Variety Tiered Scout has five tiers, each of which is a Sync Pair Scout ×11. Players are able to scout once on each tier by using Paid Gems, with the amount of gems increasing with each tier. Additionally, Tiers 5 grants the player an additional in-game reward.
  • Tier 1: 1,000 Paid Gems
  • Tier 2: 1,500 Paid Gems
  • Tier 3: 2,000 Paid Gems
  • Tier 4: 2,500 Paid Gems
  • Tier 5: 3,000 Paid Gems - Variety Guaranteed Scout Ticket
The Variety Guaranteed Scout Ticket, as the name suggests, can be used in the Variety Featured Ticket Scout to randomly team up with either 5★ Cilan & Simisage, 5★ Chili & Simisear, or 5★ Cress & Simipour.

Solo Event: Triple Hospitality

This new event will be running through to November 9th, at 9:59pm (PST).

This Solo Event breaks with recent trends by following the classic event format, where players can earn special items by completing event battles. The Event Voucher M earned in this event can be exchanged for a variety of valuable items, including a Strike Move Candy Coin, Special Skill Feathers 102, 103, and 104, and 5★ Scout Tickets. Players can also obtain Gems and Event Medals for completing special missions during the event.

As usual for events of this type, players will have an increased chance of receiving bonus rewards if they take on event battles using teams that feature specific sync pairs. The more of these sync pairs that players place in their lineup, the greater the bonus received. The applicable Sync Pairs and reward rates are as follows:
These bonuses stack additively, so having a team consisting of Cilan & Simisage, Chili & Simisear, and Cress & Simipour, would grant a combined +180% (×2.8) rewards.

Please note that unlike many past Solo Events, there will be no stat bonuses when completing event battles for Sync Pairs with the featured Theme Skill.

Players should also note the following when playing this event:
  • The number of plays available for Daily Extreme Battle 1 are reset every day at 11:00pm (PDT) until November 1st, and at 10:00pm (PST) from November 2nd to the end of the event
  • To participate, players must have completed Main Story Chapter 1: The More the Merrier (Normal) in single-player.
  • The sync pairs that appear as opponents in battle have different capabilities than those players can actually obtain.
  • All mission completion rewards must be claimed within three days of the mission period ending.
  • Leftover Event Voucher M items will be automatically converted to coins at a rate of 10 coins per item at the end of the event, and sent to players' Present Boxes.
