(not sure how good of an idea this is, but I might as well give it a shot.)
BASIC IDEA
In this thread, you choose a civilization to RP as, and basically just rule your country and make important decisions and stuff, like engaging in wars, passing laws, etc. You just choose a leader that ruled your country (e.g. George Washington or Abraham Lincoln for America or Kim Jong-il/Kim Jong-un) or you can play as yourself. There's not a list of civilizations to choose from, as you can choose whichever one you want. However, only one player can play as a single civilization. I'll provide a list of taken civilizations. The game takes place in present day, and operates on real time. Once 5 people are signed up, the game will start, but sign-ups will also be open for more players.

RULES
1- No godmodding. Negotiations and wars between players can not be determined by a single player. Example: Someone playing as Japan cannot take Moscow without the Russian player's consent, even if they are at war.
2- Don't overpower yourself. Don't create fifty million troops to march towards Cairo at once, for example.
3- Don't set up cities in another player's territory without their consent. Camps are fine, for when you're at war and stuff, but irl, would the Iraqi let the Americans set up a major city in Iraq?
4- If you want to quit, that's fine. Just provide a reasonable explanation for why your civilization fell (like the story of the Aztecs), or give another player permission to take over your capital (this works best if you're at war with them).
5- Please no choosing leaders for your country that are leaders of another e.g.- J.F.K controlling France or Napoleon Bonaparte controlling Mexico.
6- Understand your leader can't live forever (unless you yourself are the ruler). Every once in a while I'll progress to the next year just to speed up a little, and once this starts getting old, Benjamin Netanyahu won't live to be 152 years old. Once your first leader has died, you may either choose another leader of that country to be your president, or make up one.
7- To show you read the rules, include this quote at the end of your registration-
"The ultimate measure of man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy."- Martin Luther King Jr.
