Clavell & Quaquaval make their Pokémon Masters EX debut in a new Poké Fair Scout

Clavell makes his Pokémon Masters EX today with his Sync Pair partner Quaquaval in this limited-time Poké Fair Scout alongside the ongoing Academy Founding Chapter: Let's Make a School on Pasio Event. This scout is available in-game now, and will run through to October 17th at 10:59pm (PDT).

As normal for Poké Fair Scouts, 5★ sync pairs have a 10% chance of appearing in this scout. This Poké Fair Scout also includes a daily discount, where players can perform a single scout for ×100 paid gems. This daily discount can be used 1 time per day during the entire length of the scout.

Players will also receive 4× Field Roll Cake Coin and 4× 5★ Power-Ups each time they pair up with Clavell & Quaquaval through this scout, up to a maximum of 5 times.

This Fair-Exclusive Water-type Sprint Role Sync Pair are being released with an expanded sync grid, the ability to be raised to 6★ EX, and the ability to unlock a Field EX Role when raised to 6★ EX. Raising the pair to 6★ EX also unlocks an alternative version of Clavell's outfit featuring multiple shades of blue.

Clavell & Quaquaval are designed around doing quick, speedy strikes. Their Something to Treasure! Status move gets them set up with a four stat rank buff to their Attack and a three stat rank buff to critical-hit rate, along with reducing the sync move countdown by 1, and applying the Move Gauge Acceleration effect thanks to their T-Move: Allied Field MG → 9 Passive Skill. Their Aqua Step attack, in combination with their P-Move Stat Raises ×2 Passive Skill, gives them a two stat rank boost to their Speed in addition to dealing a 190 base power attack to a single opponent. These all work together to set up their Liquidation Dance Buddy Move, which gains additional power based on how much their Speed has been raised, at the cost of resetting their Speed back to its baseline value.
