Clemont and bonnie speculation/discussion thread

[wmg]Clemont is actually the ~15-year-old of the group, and only looks like a little kid.

... Wait, wrong forum for that emoticon. :p

It seems like, oddly enough, BONNIE will be the Brock of this series...in that she apparently tries to play match-maker for Clemont.

Clemont's little gear, like the Aipom Arm, seems like it can be a fun little gimmick, I hope they go over the top and give him a never-ending-supply of situation specific gadgets he can pull out.

Wow, we are actually having an even amount of girls and boys in the traveling group for once. I'm really excited about Bonnie's character. I'm sure she'll bring a lot of laughs to Ash's adventures.

I really hope Eureka will become a Pokémon Trainer. We've had children her age command Pokémon before, so I don't she why she couldn't.

It would've been nice if Bonnie had her own Pokemon along with being Clemont's human pokeball belt. It doesn't have to be a battling Pokemon either, just a companion at least. :\

Bonnie will play match maker of the group, don't know about the other guy. Hopefully he gets more than Dento did though.

Clemont = Cilan I think. He's not really 15, but his voice sounds like he is a teenager (like Dice from Sam & Cat) I'm guessing 10-12.

Bonnie: no opinion.

Clemont and Bonnie are very interesting to me. At first I was "eh" at their inclusion to the main cast, but now I am starting to like both of them. Serena is still meh to me though. So, I am not sure if I like the idea of Bonnie having a Pokémon, mainly because that could make the main cast way too big, like in Best Wishes. I mean, Ash will have at least six Pokémon, Serena will have at least three and Clemont apparently already have Dedenne and Bunnelby, by the start of the series. Too many Pokémon means that most of them will be severely underdeveloped by the end of the series, so I really hope their teams are smaller this time.

I wouldn't be opposed to Clemont giving Dedenne to his sister, though. Speaking of Clemont, am I the only one who find cute his choice of Pokémon? I was initially hoping for Serena to pick Chespin, but I changed my mind. It needs to be one of Clemont's Pokémon as long as he evolves it eventually.

I look forward to seeing what Clemont can bring to the table.

Sadly, I cannot say the same for Bonnie.

I watch this show for Pokemon, and a character who doesn't own any Pokemon and is in every episode makes me lose interest in them quickly. And this whole "always on the lookout for a wife" thing? Yeah, sounds too much like Brock's shtick, which was already annoying enough.

Clemont has a Bunnelby! A bit random but OK. And it looks like he will appear in the second episode as its title is Mega Evolutions and the Prism Tower! And the tower Ash falls from may be the Prism Tower. And if Ash meets Clemont and Bonnie in the second episdoe it probably means that episode three will be about meeting Serena and the fourth will be in Sycamores lab with the starters.

i sure hope Chespin's face he made when he noticed Bonnie isnt a sign of how they are going to handle her

and with Bonnie trying to find her brother a wife, all i can see is almost every episode or so

.... also though i sure hope those aipom arms have a welding attachment cause most robots are used for welding other wise i cant see them being all that helpfull if you have pokemon that can use move like vine whip.

I'm hoping bonnie leaves soon to go to school.

And what do you now have against Bonnie?

it really really bothers people for some reason to have a character too young to train pokemon yet

and i really dont know where this comes from, but there you have it

No its because they are all insufferable midgets who can never walk the walk. Despite talking the talk. Watch as she craps her pants and loses it right when something big actually happens while she "takes care" of her brother.
