Clip on CN from Season 9 of Team Rocket

....that didn't sound like the original BGM..............

Anyone...wanna check that. The voices sound okay....but....the BGM......

Seviper sounds different, but good, as does Cacnea.

"But I'm too old to believe in ghosts" :-D

They sound... weird. But I could get used to them.

I hope that scene was silent in the original, cuz PUSA did say they would fill those parts...

But if not.....damnit

Jessie was okay, but James and Meowth sounded dreadful. Not only that, they butchered James's character (he'd never threaten Cacnea like that)

I could barely hear the music. But yeah, it doesn't sound right. Anyone got the original scene or atleast the audio track?

As for TR themselves, they sounded alright.

I just checked between the clip and the japanese ep and I don't think ANY of the Japanese music was used during that clip :/ Someone might want to double check it, that and the music on the dub clip seems to change just as many times as 4Kids would change their music XD; In the Japanese version it's one piece that plays straight through the scene.

Team Rocket's voices are cool though, James seems to have improved a lot~

Those didn't sound that bad actually..much better than they did in M.o.M.P.

They will take some getting used to of course.

Backstabbing bastards. :banghead:

Do you see, Al? (I want to call you by your full name, but I don't know if it's Alfred or Albert :|) We had predicted this would happen first, long ago, that the original music was not going to be kept.

That does leave the question though, how are they making it "more like the Japanese version?" The music's been changed, the titles punned up, the characters' personalities butchered.......

James really spot on, but I think Jessie and Meowth are still a tad bit sketchy (though still improved.)

But I think the question here is, was this an actual clip from the episode,
or was it edited just for CN promotional reasons?
If that's the case, it may still be safe, right?

Music-wise, I'm gonna wait for the actual new episodes this weekend before I judge completely, granted I will be comparing the BGM just to see how much was changed and how much wasn't XD;
Though right now it is feeling just like the 4kids version only with different VAs :/

That music was definately NOT the original bgm. In fact, in sounded EXACTLY like the synthesizer crap 4Kids produced, right down to the music changing every second. I hope that the music isn't really going to be used. I HOPE!

wow whoever does Jessie sounds just like Lillis, props to whoever is doing that. However, she got the voice, but the essence isn't there...but I'll say that will come in due time.

I don't think CN would have any reason to edit that clip, Rayne. O.O

Anyway though, as for the episode clip, well Jessie was the closest out of all of them. But like someone else said, James and Meowth were awful. >_<

Still, they don't sound much like the real Team Rocket. So they will definitely take some getting used to.

And it doesn't surprise me one bit that Pokemon USA didn't keep the BGM in that scene. For all we know, they probably didn't keep much BGM at all in that episode (except for like, the battle songs of course).

Heh, I knew better than to believe that. XD

And also, I wasn't expecting them to live up to their response of "Sure, we'll keep all the BGM! We're going to keep Pokemon as close to the Japanese version as possible".

Yeah right. I'm sure they only said that to try and please some fans of the Japanese version.

Like I said, let's see more then a minute of the show before we freak out.

I know.

I was just using that clip as like, a prediction for what the rest of the episode "might" be like, lol. ^^o

eh I still say give them a chance guys, I was very suprised by hearing them that they are not horrible by any means, and they're new...I mean that's big shoes to fill for someone who has been doing the show for 8 years.

Just don't disrepect the talents on either side, they're trying hard, and tthe old cast will never be replaced as "the" voices. I think I might be the only one who will miss Eric Stuarts James squeel :p.
