Clobbopus and Grapploct make their Pokémon GO debuts December 11th in the Well Armed event

The first rule of Fighting-type Pokémon events is that you tell everyone about them. Trainers in Pokémon GO mid-this month will be getting their hands on a bunch of Fighting-type Pokémon in the Well Armed event, which will be running from Thursday, December 11th, at 10:00am to Tuesday, December 16th, at 8:00pm local time.

Event Bonuses and Activities
The following bonuses will be active throughout the event period:

• 2× Candy for catching Pokémon.
• Increased chance to encounter Shiny Dynamax Hitmonlee and Shiny Dynamax Hitmonchan.

Global Challenges
Global Challenges will take place throughout the Well Armed event. Trainers around the world will work together to complete Max Battles to unlock the following additional bonuses for the remainder of the event.

• Clobbopus, the Tantrum Pokémon, will make its Pokémon GO debut in the wild and in Field Research.
• Mienfoo ⁂ and Jangmo-o ⁂ will also appear in the wild.
• Trainers will receive increased Candy and Candy XL from Max Battles.

After Clobbopus has made its debut, Trainers will be able to use 50 Clobbopus Candy to evolve Clobbopus into Grapploct.

Field Research Task Rewards
Event-themed Field Research tasks will be available as part of this event. Trainers completing these tasks will receive Fast TMs, Charged TMs, and encounters with event-themed Pokémon including Dynamax Hitmonlee and Dynamax Hitmonchan.

Paid Timed Research
Trainers will be able to access event-exclusive Timed Research for US$1.99 (or the equivalent pricing tier in each local currency). Amongst other rewards, Trainers completing this research will receive six Rare Candies, three Rare Candy XL, and 1600 Max Particle.

The tasks associated with this Timed Research must be completed and their rewards must be claimed before December 16th, at 8:00pm local time.

Well Armed Ultra Ticket Box
A Well Armed Ultra Ticket Box will be available on the Pokémon GO Web Store for US$1.99 (or the equivalent pricing tier in each local currency). It includes includes an event ticket for access to the Paid Timed Research, plus two Max Revives, and two Max Potions.
