Looks like Cartoon Network's finally settled on a standard airing day each week for Pokemon's Orange Islands arc. Each Monday, in the old Miguzi block(3:00 P.M.-6:00P.M Central), six old eps get re-aired(at least in the US, I don't know about the rest of the world). Great news for those of us who've lost their original collections to, say, a natural disaster or two.

All these are from Cartoon Network's own schedule or from having actually having seen them, though the last is largely speculative on my part(will one of these marathons air on Labor Day? I don't know).

8/06: Friend and Foe Alike/Friends to the End/Pallet Party Panic/A Scare In the Air(*not* 'Spirits in the Sky' as some have come to believe)/Pokeball Peril/The Lost Lapras

8/13: Fit to be Tide/Pikachu Re-Volts/The Crystal Onix/In The Pink/Shell Shock/Stage Fight

8/20: Bye Bye Psyduck/The Joy of Pokemon/Navel Manuevers/Snack Attack/A Shipful of Shivers/Meowth Rules

8/27: Tracey Gets Bugged/A Way Off Day Off/The Mandarin Island Miss Match/ Wherefore Art Thou, Pokemon?/Git Along, Little Pokemon/The Mystery Menace

9/??: Misty Meets Her Match!/Bound for Trouble/Charizard Chills/Pokemon Water War/Pokemon Food Fight/Pokemon Double Trouble

9/??: The Wacky Watcher/The Stun Spore Detour/Hello Pummelo/Enter the Dragonite/Vivas Las Lapras/The Underground Round Up

9/??: A Tents Situation/The Rivalry Revival/Don't Touch That 'dile!/The Double Trouble Header/A Sappy Ending/Roll On, Pokemon

If MIMM doesn't air on the 27th, then 'Misty Meets Her Match' will almost certainly air at the end of that block. Either way, if CN keeps the schedule as is, then we'll be back in Johto by mid-to-late September. Nice(if you like Johto, that is).

EDIT(8/27): Turns out MIMM is supposed to air after all, at 4:00P.M. Central

Cool, so this isn't just an August marathon? I mean, they're really going to be showing Pokemon that much throughout the months?

That's sweet! :-D

Speaking of updates, I just updated the listing and more in my first post(direct from Cartoon Network's schedule, though the September stuff is guestimation on my part).

(at least in the US, I don't know about the rest of the world)

Rest of the world get COMPLETELY different CN. Singapore, for example, airs english dub of Kamen Rider Blade; and i don't think any european CN airs Pokemon (except CNToo in UK), it's mostly Jetix then.

Thanks for the info, Atoman.

On another note, Cartoon Network's got a Poke-marathon of sorts airing Saturday before "Naruto: Ninja Clash in the Land of Snow":

The Problem With Paras
The Song of Jigglypuff
Attack of the Prehistoric Pokemon
A Chansey Operation
Holy Matrimony!
Mewtwo Strikes Back
Pokemon Ranger and the Mystery of Mew

I haven't checked the schedule since yesterday, but it's possible that the Monday marathons will kick off again from September 10 as listed in my first post.

CN is airing Pokemon at 6:00 PM and Pokemon D/P reruns at 6:30PM Monday through Friday right now. It is still a good idea. They also aired a pokemon microthon plus Pokemon the First Movie and Pokemon Ranger and the Temple of the Sea from 12:00 Pm to 7:00 PM yesterday.

^It looks like they'll be continuing this though the rest of September, with P2K and Spell of the Unown after (maybe) the following this week:

The Ultimate Test
The Breeding Center Secret
Riddle Me This
Volcanic Panic
Beach Blank-Out Blastoise

I say "maybe" because for some reason, they skipped "Princess Versus Princess" and "The Purr-fect Hero" last week. Ouch.

^Actually, this week they'll be doing The Ultimate Test, The Breeding Center Secret, Pokemon: I Choose You, Pokemon Emergency, and Ash Catches a Pokemon. Also they'll be showing Pokemon 3: The Movie, and Pokemon the Movie 2000: The Power of One.

Awesome!

They're gonna be showing the first 3 episodes! ^_^

And yay, they're airing Pokemon The Movie 2000 and Pokemon 3 as well! I love those movies! :)

Heh, the first three episodes. I really liked Ash in these ones, he was so funny! Funnier than usual, at least. I found him to be funny up until the end of Johto, when TAJ left the scene and 4Kids decided to keep it truer to the more-serious original Japanese version.

And Pokémon 2000 is my favourite movie!

And as if all of *that* wasn't enough, Cartoon Network's starting to re-air even *more* of the first season in its 5:30 A.M.(Central) slot starting Monday. So far:

9/24: Ash Catches a Pokemon
9/25: Challenge of the Samurai
9/26: Showdown in Pewter City

I'd guess that Thursday and Friday will have the Mt. Moon and Cerulean City debuts, but CN isn't nearly as predictable as I once thought.

Update: They've decided to keep them schedule the way it is. Which means that we are currently in the Orange Islands arc in the evening times. We should be in the Johto arc in a while.

Orangs Islands is great! ^^

But I really can't wait for Johto Journeys to start airing! I love that season! :-D

PHFFF HAHAHAHA!!! Ahhh... Ahhhhh...

:phew: Ah, good one.

Bad News: It looks like CN's stopped airing Kanto I episodes in the 5:30 A.M. (Central) block, with Storm Hawks taking their place.

Good News: It also appears that CN is still airing Season 1 in what I've come call its "Poke Block" (11:00 A.M.-1:30 P.M. Central on Saturdays). Last week was 020(The Ghost of Maiden's Peak[U/])-024(Haunter Versus Kadabra[U/]). I presume that Tentacool and Tentacruel[U/] was supposed to air the week before, but was dropped by accident at the last minute for Movie 9. This week, I think we're supposed to get:

Primeape Goes Bananas
Pokemon Scent-sation
Hypno's Naptime
Pokemon Fashion Flash
The Punchy Pokemon
