I just heard about this from a friend:

Minor spoilers, but in the RS arc, Ruby gets attacked by a Salamance when he is a young kid.

Looks like the owner of that Salamance appears in the ORAS arc
When I first heard this, I was mindblown. Seriously. Like, how they managed to add the extra ORAS plot on top of the RS arc that continues on just fine - while giving additional details to the previous arc.

The only notable part about this is that Salamence set Rayquaza free, which Kusaka can retroactively explain away as being Zinnia's plan. The truth is that the Salamence was supposed to be wild and it didn't deliberately release Rayquaza. It's pretty forced to pretend otherwise.

Actually, I am not even sure that Zinnia says that she was Salamence's trainer back then. In that case, at least Kusaka isn't pretending that he planned this.

I really doubt that the ones who put the manga together would be able to predict/plan for story elements eleven years in the future. It's a very convenient and remarkable coincidence, but a coincidence all the same.

If you have to say it, then the biggest coincidence should be the ending of RS chapter of Special manga, which perfectly fit with the alternative universe theory proposed by Zinnia in ORAS game.
Although this information is not yet appear in the manga, but I'm sure it will be involved or even at least alluded in later chapter. BTW, did Kusaka even involved in the scenario planning of the ORAS game? This is just too much of a coincidence to call for it.

Hey, this makes me wonder is Zinnia coming from the same alternative universe as Ruby and Sapphire......

Winona and Wallace better be shown to be together at some point in ORAS, or I swear to Arceus, Kusaka is gonna have hell to pay.

Wait... How did the RS arc end? I haven't read Adventures yet. And who is Kusaka?

As long as Juan shows up at all, I'll be fine. His absence in the OR/AS games better mean we're going to be swamped with him in all the other media.

Huh!? Are you even a reader of Pokemon Special manga? If you don't read the manga, why are you even replying?

Kusaka Hidenori is the scenario planner (alternatively called manga author) of the entire Pokemon Special manga series. Everyone reads the Special manga knows him!

And for the epilogue of RS chapter...... if you haven't read it yet, then I better not spoil it too much to you. Better read it yourself in the bulbapedia page. Or if you like the scans or scanslations, PM me for websites I often go for reading. I better not put the direct link here due to copyright.

Because I'm interested in the manga. I can't ask a question? Also, I haven't been able to start collecting the Adventures volumes, not enough space on my shelves.

All I wanted to know was what about the RS epilogue suggests an alternate universe.
