In the Yellow Saga, a flashback shows Professor Oak battling Agatha. Professor Oak's Kangaskhan used Dizzy Punch on Gengar, and it connects, something that normally doesn't happen.

In Diamond and Pearl, Kangaskhan's new ability is Bravery, an ability that allows it to hit Ghost types with Normal and/or Fighting moves.

Intresting no?

And, because every ability, move and Pokémon are shown in Pokémon Special, we'll obviously see Bravery at one point. Do you think the aformentioned battle will be explained to the readers, thus introducing the Bravery ability?

If so, who will be explaining it? Oak, or perhaps Agatha, signifying a return?

I expect they'll simply ignore it and use new Pokemon and characters for the example.

Like they ignored the bold claims that their was only "150" know Pokemon.

Known is the keyword. MOre Pokémon were discovered.

BTW, only Miltank and Kangaskhan have this ability. They don't like reusing signature Pokémon like Miltank, so I would assume that either Whitney or Oak would have to explain it, or perhaps it will be explained through a wild Pokémon battle....

BS. Their is no way all these Pokemon "were discovered" in a region that has been established and inhabited for years.

Eh, is that really the fault of the manga writers? They had no idea we'd be getting more Pokémon....

How would YOU explain it if you were put in such a situation?

I know, I'm just saying that "ignoring" the fact that Kangashan didn't know that ability back then is the same thing.

Coincidence?
Likely.

Although I wouldn't be surprised if part of the reason for this is to patch up the error. It wouldn't be the first time an outside media influenced the games.

I doubt it'll be mentioned that Oak's Kangaskhan has the ability, though. Does he even have it in the present?

We haven't seen him use it since that flashback.
