Coincidences?

One day, I search Wikipedia for the name, "Giovanni", and I find out that it is my actual Italian name! No joke! Also, Juan is my Spanish name!

Out of curiosity, are there things from the Pokémon media that coincide with you in some form?

My first Pokemon game was Sapphire and sapphire is also my birthstone. Also, Sapphire released soon before I was going into 1st grade, while Alpha Sapphire released during my first semester of senior year of high school (12th grade), so I saw my like as a Pokemon trainer and public school student both come full circle, beginning and end, at roughly the same time. It was a rad time of my life.

-Nicholai in the anime owned a Marshtomp, which you can guess it's my favorite Pokemon.
-Tierno in the anime also owned a Hitmontop and a Politoed simultaneously, which are among my top favorites.
-I completed the Sinnoh League in Platinum on June 24th, 2009, which is the day when the competence began in the anime in Japan.
-The day Sun & Moon were released I started my first job. I don't like to remember much that day because I couldn't get the games that day.
-If the games' release date follows the pattern from 2014, 2016 and 2017 this year, the game will be released on my birthday!!

That's really amazing! I won't forget how when Diamond and Pearl were coming out, I was basically in my final High School years.

-Victor is the name of my role play OC (and basically my online identity). Raichu is my favourite Pokemon, and Victor is the character of the day in the anime who owned Puka, which is theorised to inspire Alolan Raichu.

- I'll begin to play the main series Pokemon games with the Switch, so I'm quite excited for the Switch game. The Switch game's development was announced at E3 on June 14, 3 days after my birthday. (I'm not sure if it counts but still...)

-Pokemon Red and Blue's European release was a day before my birthday.

-My very first exposure to Pokémon was from the late Sinnoh saga- and one of my earliest Pokémon-related memories is watching Ash and Paul battle (in my regional dub). The Ash vs Paul episode aired on by birthday in Japan!

- During the Kalos league, Ash, Alain, Sawyer and Tierno used Greninja, Charizard, Sceptile, and Raichu, which are my favourite starters and on my top 10 list of favourite Pokemon.
