The first details on special CoroCoro magazine; CoroCoro Special's October issue have started to come out through a Twitter so there is a possibility of it being inaccurate, with thanks to Sabonea Masukippa for translation. This issue confirms a new feature within Double & Triple Battles called Combination Attacks. These attacks can be joined together if you select both attacks by selecting two or more specific attacks. Three examples of these attacks include Grass Oath, Fire Oath and Water Oath. We don't know how these work exactly but we have three examples;
If you use Grass Oath and Water Oath, the moves combine to make a Moor attack which lowers your opponent's speed.
In addition to that, Fire Oath and Water Oath create a Rainbow in the sky which boosts the likelihood of secondary effects occuring for your team mates.
Grass Oath & Fire Oath creates a Field of Fire which will cause damage to the opponents each turn.
We'll bring more details on this brand new feature as and when it comes including some total confirmation.

People complain about everything. But looks like its more expansive then the Mystery Dungeon games.

These combinations, as well as being done together, also need to be done in order. For example, for the Grass/Fire Oath one, you'll need to use Grass Oath and then Fire Oath. It is unknown if all combination moves will be like this.

That makes me think these are fake even more.

Ever generation adds something to battles that make them more realistic etc, but I think this is just too far.

Why are info leaks for the next CoroCoro happening before September even begins?
I call shenanigans.

I want to believe, though. I want to believe in the rainbow.

I'm calling fake.

Surely the October CoroCoro isn't due out until the 15th of September? Going by what has always been the standard, leaks should be around the 10th of September. Sure, the issue may be printed by now, but I doubt it's already been distributed.

Also, twitter is a pretty unreliable source. Has this twitter account got any credibility with leaks? If I make an account with a Japanese name, and post up some random things in Japanese, the fandom will probably take it seriously for a while.

There's a scan of the magazine up on Serebii. Looks pretty legit. But don't most fakes these days...

At time of posting, there was no scan. But that's a good point Wooguru, fakes are getting better these days. Sure there's glare, but someone could have printed it off and took a photo of it.

I'm calling real.

It's from CoroCoro's Special which comes out in the beginning of each month. Then there's the regular CoroCoro magazine which comes out on the 15th. The scan is legit and the info is legit.

Oh I hope they're fake. That just seems like a bad idea in general, I mean we already have triple battles. Leave it at that.

Okay, thanks for that clarification.

This game is now different.

They may have not had anything of interest in them.

Pre-DP Release, for instance, I remember only getting one with new DP info...that was around this time, I believe, and it gave us our first look at PalPark.

No problem :)

Wow. I wondered how they would show a rainbow and I kinda like it. It'll take some getting used to, but I welcome this addition of combo attacks.

Ohh. I didn't know that. Chances of it showing some new pokemon?
