Comedian Bernie Mac dead at 50

I don't believe this. He was a real funny guy, especially during the Bernie mac show.

On another note, it is saddening how people in the U.S seem to die younger and younger these days. Heart, complications, penumonia....
 
I've never really (aside from the Crocodile Hunter) cried over a celebrity's death but this guy, I watched that one comedy of him and those kids and my mother and I got attached to him. He reminded me of my father who's been through rough times but is 57.

Gosh, if I'm like this over him, then imagine how I'll be when Cosby goes.

He was a decent comedian, and pneumonia's a terrible way to go.
 
I haven't seen much of him, but from what I have, I thought he was pretty funny. This is sad. :(

I just logged in to the forum, and my jaw hit the floor when I read this post.

I'm kind of in shock. I didn't even know Bernie HAD pneumonia.

I mean, he was a big star, in the prime of his life, and he just up and dies......

That's just.....damn.

Bernie, you were awesome in every movie and TV show you were ever in. I and every other human being on the face of the Earth are going to miss you.
 
whats odd is that just the other day on the news they said he was getting better. oh well he will be missed. i liked his tv show and loved him in the movies he did.
 
When I heard the news that Bernie Mac had died, I couldn't believe it. The poor guy was only 50. People are dying so young these days...

Back on topic, Bernie Mac will be missed.
 
This weekend's a really crappy weekend for black male celebrities...

Because Issac Hayes, the actor who played Shaft and Chef from South Park is also dead :(

MEMPHIS, TN (WMC-TV) - Soul music legend Isaac Hayes died early Sunday afternoon, according to Shelby County Sheriff's Department spokesperson Steve Shular. Hayes was 65.

A Shelby County sheriff's deputy responded to Hayes' home after his wife found him on the floor near a treadmill inside his home.

Hayes was taken to Baptist East Hospital in Memphis, where he was pronounced dead at 2:08pm.

Yeah or these things just make the news more often, especially when they are celebrities.

Anyway, it is sad.
