This is a fairly obvious thread. And this will, hopefully, get all the comic fans better acquainted with each other's tastes.

Favorite Company: Marvel
Favorite Hero: Jubilee
Favorite Villain: Such a hard decision, but I'd have to narrow it down to Scarlet Witch (since she's a villain now), Apocalypse, and Carnage.
Favorite Character: Another hard one to narrow down. I'd have to limit it to Jubilee, Firestar, Justice, Synch, and Chamber.
Favorite Team: Generation X and Avengers
Favorite Series: Generation X (well...to a point)
Favorite Current Series: Young Avengers
Favorite Single Issue: New Mutants #45 (a classic issue)
Favorite Crossover Event: Phalanx Covenant

Favorite Current Series: No idea. We're kinda behind US here in Norway. I'll just go with Daredevil here as well, even though I haven't read it for quite some time now.

Last Comic/s Bought: (all norwegian editions): Spider-Man #9/05(Marvel Team-Up #1 and #2), Manga Mania #5/05(Love Hina, Chobits and Power!), Detective Conan #14 and Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne #3 (It's was a huge week for manga now)
Series Currently Reading: Norwegian editions of Amazing Spider-Man, Spectacular Spider-man, Marvel Team-Up, Ultimate Spider-man, Ultimate Fantastic Four, New X-Men and X-treme X-Men. In addition to pretty much every norwegian comic book on the market (which is a lot less than in US, of course).

Favorite Company: DC. Vertigo, mainly, but that's DC all the same.
Favorite Hero: Impulse, when he was around. (*weeps*)
Favorite Villain: D... does Bizarro count as a villain? I'm never entirely sure with Bizarro...
Favorite Character: Hmn. Uhm, I'll avoid a potentially long list and just say Dream of the Endless. Either of 'em.
Favorite Team: Young Justice, and that version of the Justice League with Blue Beetle, Booster Gold, and Guy Gardner. Yeah.
Favorite Series: Nightwing was one of the few that never really disappointed me, so...
Favorite Current Series: Uh... Fables is still running, so I'll go with that.
Favorite Single Issue: I don't really have one.
Favorite Crossover Event: Don't have one of these, either.
Last Comic/s Bought: Fables: Legends in Exile + Fables: Animal Farm. First two collections of the series.
Series Currently Reading: Nothing issue-to-issue.

GrnMarvl13>> I've seen a little bit of Runaways here and there (thank you, scans_daily), but I'm a little hesitant to pick up the trades because, frankly, I know jack abut the Marvel universe beyond common knowledge. Is that "common knowledge" good enough to get me through the series, or what? ^^;

Runaways makes vague jaunts into the regular Marvel Universe, but the main plot requires you to understand what is happening to the Runaways...and that's it. You'll see well-known villains appear, but they'll get beaten fairly quickly, and usually someone will explain to someone else who the villain is and a VERY basic rundown of why they're well-known. And what heroes appear really don't need anything more than a basic explanation of who they are (so you'll understand WHY they're where they are), and even THAT'S not required to understand what's happening.

And so do you not like Impulse as Kid Flash?

Oh! <3 That's good to hear. It looks like such an interesting series; I'm really glad to hear a complete Marvel n00b like me can get into it. :E Thanks for the clarification! ♥

And yeah, I'm not a big Bart-as-Kid-Flash fan. I always found Impulse's "acting without thinking" approach to things was what made him stand out compared to the other speedster-characters in the big Flash-family. And it was effective in its own... special sort of way. Now he just seems like the regular, routine "hi i run fast" character. *shrug*

I could be wrong, though. I do admit, I never gave him much of a chance...

Last Comic/s Bought: Ultimate X-Men 6: Return of the King. I'm off to Borders tommorow which I recently discovered has a comic and graphic novels section so it'll change.

I haven't read as many Marvel comics as other members as the U.K has a lack of them. :/
