Really, the question is, what do you think of Communism?

I know where communists are coming from and I know they think they're doing good but I'm definitely not a communist.

How is taking away the efforts of someone and given to some half-ass-er okay?

I honestly do not like the idea of communism.
Now, many people do say communism proposes a "fair" system for everyone in a country, but is it really fair?

You see, you'd have people working their butts off trying to make money, but they would still get the same as say ... somebody who just more or less nothing.
Then you have all the people who are actually in control of everything, and as you can probably figure, you'll have corrupt officials that cause problems left, right and center.

It just doesn't work in my opinion.
(Also, I've not known about communism for a long time (only learned about it last Tuesday), so I can't really say much on the subject for now)

Am I the only Communist here? JOIN ME! OR DIE!

Edit: Communism is definitely more fair the CRAP-italism, which has caused me to suffer and gave me "BS" constantly MY ENTIRE life!

I sincerely hope Karl Marx's predictions about Communism on a global scale will be realized.

Ah, so you made a stupid pun, and have an anecdote about how it's capitalism's fault that your life sucks. That's a great argument. Why don't you go talk to the millions who have died at the hands of communism in the USSR and East Asia and then re-evaluate how bad capitalism (if you actually consider what we have right now capitalism.. I definitely don't) has made your life.

Not good at necromancy? Oh well, I don't really know what to tell you.

Understanding of communism fail. That is really not how communism works.

But anyway, I'm not a communist. Not even close.

Explain how it works then. While you're at it, find 2 different communists who completely agree on how it works.

The Great Leap forward: hmmm....I think it's the great leap backwards, and the Tiananmen Square? They love to kill don't they. Plus, I'd love to make money when I get a job. I'd say no to communism, staying poor all the time seems a bit boring and dangerous to me.

Huh? Oh, your right. Its just a step up from socialism. >_>

Personally, I think communism is a load of bull.

Coming from an affluent background, I don't think it's fair to expect talented, hardworking people to accept the same lifestyle as people who don't have any talent or don't want to work hard. I've been raised to think that each man (or woman) should go out into the world and work their way to success. I also think that people should be rewarded for their hard work.

The main problem of communism is corruption. In a perfect system, Communism, and socialism as a whole, would be the best.

That's my thinking. In a communist society, lazy asses get what they don't deserve because its taken away from those that did deserve it.

Also, history says socialism and the like never work.
