Any of you guys like incense? I've got tons of different types, but I recently found one that smells like grapes. You guys got any scents to suggest?

Hmmm, i aint really an "incense" sort of guy.
I dont have time to create a cool calm atmosphere i just have to accept my life is utter chaos and unorganisation is running rife!

I love incense. Quality incense though, I've gotten some sticks that were like they were just dipped in scent. When I lit them I almost suffocated.

They're 10 for a dollar at a county fair that comes once a year.

I'm not really into it as much as my sister, but I do love the scent whenever she uses it.

I just bought 200 sticks and yet another burner last weekend at the ren fair I worked at.

Go for hand-dipped when you can. In my long incense experience, Hand-dipped > manufactured stuff. As for scents, strawberry and sandalwood are my two favorites. I also found a bunch at a ren fair a few weeks ago that was jack-o-lantern, and it's fabulous. Kinda a pumpkin pie mixed with the smell you get when you don't cut a vent hole. Vanilla is my standard though, since I have a hard time finding good strawberry a lot of the time. You really have to watch out for super strong vanillas though, they'll choke even me.

It's not fair. My mom doesn't let me burn stuff in the house, and the only other place I can is outside, where it's windy, loud, or my dog is trying to play with me and there are ants. (It's frightening when he steps into the ~2 feet between me and a bucket of fire, and he doesn't react well to being tied to somewhere. Besides, there's nowhere to tie him to.) I can't really burn my candles, and incense would merely sit there next to them. I wish I could get and use some, though.[/griping]

I seem to remember liking sandalwood.

I have a bunch of sandalwood incense. I can't burn it for long, though, because I have a small room and I get a headache if the scent gets too strong.

Incense addict here. Doesn't help that my sister works at the Silver Dragon, known not only for cool-but-expensive fantasy jewelry and stuff but good, cheap incense.

Raspberry's my favorite scent, although I have ready-to-burn in my room Vanilla, Dragon's Blood, Night Queen, Cinnamon, Pumpkin Pie, and from the Liquid Blue brand, Water Dragon, Fire Dragon, Elven Refuge, and Aqua Fantasy.

I love incense. Gonesh has to be my favorite brand- they sell it at the local Meijer as well as Spencer's, and their Sandalwood is a lot sweeter and richer than other sandalwood incense. Perfumes of Ancient Times is also pretty good.

A small store in a nearby town has an scent called "Isis," which I love. I think Isis is sold at Hudson News as well, but I'm not sure if it smells as good.
