Completing the Pokedex

I finished it in Ruby and Sapphire and in Red & Blue (w/o Mew). Too bad my brother sold his Sapphire and and I lost my Ruby... I would have a Totodile if I traded the Pokémon on there to my Emerald. >:(
 
Nope, though I'm really close to it.
In Yellow, I had 150 (Mew missing) before I gave it away.
In Gold, I have 248 (Mew, Celebi and Entei missing).
In Sapphire, I have 383 (Mew, Celebi and Deoxys missing; Jirachi was just visiting on my cartridge). Also, before I began to migrate mah Pokémon to Platinum, I had a living Pokédex of 382 species.
In Platinum, I have 490 (Celebi, Deoxys and Arceus missing); I have talked to a specific BMGf user and it seems that I'll get at least two of those from him :p
 
On my platinum, I just need Arceus, the three dogs and Mewtwo and I have it complete, so it's possible.
 
No, I don't even bother with trying to finish the Pokedex. I just catch the pokemon that I feel like catching.
 
Yes I completed it on gold. I got mew through a trade with a friend (most likely wasn't real), but then I got lots of mews through the glitch on R/B/Y. I finally got celebi a few months ago through the celebi egg trick(teehee).
 
I've caught 319 so far, all without using the GTS. I'm gonna continue till I've got all except the event Pokémon.

I also have an obsession of having every single Pokemon in my box, and in the right order. So it's not enough if I've once caught a Pokemon and then evolved it - I have to have every Pokemon of that evolution line sitting in the box. Useless, I know, but I like doing it.
 
in my old Emerald,i had caught all pokemon that you can find in hoenn except igglybuff,but then i substituted my emulator for a emulator link,that allows trades,and i losed my account
 
I did for RBY after finding about the Mew glitch, I was able to capture all 151. After realizing the prize sucked, I never felt the need to try again.

Now with the absurd number of Pokemon and games required to catch them all, I just stick to catching Pokemon I like, so in my Platinum game with 160 hours of playtime (combining my first diamond file as well) I only have about 70 pokemon captured with 350 or so seen.
 
I completed it on Blue, Emerald and Diamond. Will probably follow with Platinum and HeartGold when I get them. And also LeafGreen, since I never did it there. :-p
 
It was freaking hard, too, man. Gawd, it took me forever! I have about 800 hours played on my Pokemon Pearl game.. o_O
 
My firned completed the hoenn dex one time, but not me...


EDIT: friend! I meant friend! I make that typo alot...
 
I recently completed all 493 on my Platinum 'Dex, and all legit, too! It feels awesome to have it all completed, and I'll be keeping it so that I can trade from game to game, to get HG/SS Pokedex completed, too. n.n

I might even work to get what's basically a Pokedex-In-Box on Pearl. Who knows? I'm working on getting it set up now, but if I don't pull it off, I'll be okay. At the moment, it's basically an easy reference for my shop. *Nods*

That, except 367. I dunno how many I have that aren't just entries, but I have one from every line and I figure I'll be able to get most legends between Platinum and HeartGold.
