Hey guys! So basically this thread is for sharing pictures or stories concerts you've been to, bemoaning the fact that your favourite bands don't play close enough to you, and being excited for upcoming concerts you're going to!

Personally, I missed seeing One OK Rock's recent US tour because the closest place they were playing was Atlanta, GA, which is about 11 hours away by car :\ My first concert was Presidente Music Festival in Santo Domingo back when I was a kid growing up there, and Shakira, Maná, and Ricky Martin were playing that day. I'm also making plans to see TVXQ at Yokohama Stadium in Japan over the summer, so we'll see if I can manage to do so :D

The 90s kid in me was excited to see Backstreet Boys live forever ago, though tickets always sold out too fast.

My first real concert was Fall Out Boy. Didn't go with anyone I knew, though, so it was rather awkward.

Also seen Andrew McMahon live, which was fun. I screamed "I love you" so loud during one of his songs he actually stopped playing entirely just to laugh and say it back, lmfao. Fangirl mode forever. I was first in line to get a picture and autograph after the concert, but I was so nervous I only got a picture and not an autograph, so I waited at the end of the line to get that. :p

One of my favorite artists, David Rovics, is playing in Waco this March and I'm so mad that I can't go... Waco is 2 hours from where I am, so it's like so close yet so far.

It's as bad as when they're holding live viewings (a live satellite feed of a concert, usually held at cinemas) for lots of countries, none of which are in yous. I would've loved to see Aqours' first live even if it meant going to London, but unfortunately there wasn't a live viewing for the UK ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Nowadays you can often find streams online for that stuff, though, right?

The most recent concerts I went to were:
Billy Joel at Wrigley Field. Loved the venue (as it was easy to access via CTA train), and got to hear my three favorite songs by Billy Joel, We Didn't Start The Fire, River of Dreams, and Piano Man.

Queen with Adam Lambert at the United Center. Did not like the venue, but loved the concert. Adam will never replace Freddy Mercury, but he does a magnificent job and you still get that classic Queen vibe from songs like Radio Gaga, We Will Rock You/We Are The Champions, Crazy Little Thing Called Love, and more.

Both concerts were absolutely fantastic. I love both Queen and Billy Joel.
