Confusing animation...

What does it mean when my Chimchar makes a "I just ate a berry" animation before launching an attack? At least I'm pretty sure its a berry animation....looks very similar to Emerald when they eat a berry...

Anyway....ideas?

I'm going to wager a guess it's holding a quick claw. Just a guess.
