Although there's an odd effect to the first one. While on the second one, it looks as though the decorations were there from the beginning, on the first it looks as though they were added later...

Aww, how cute
However, Torchic's head and Chikorita's body do lck a bit of shading, Chiko's leaf's better, but I think the yop of it could do with less. The outlining on looks somewhat vague, if they are mouse drawn (and otherwise too) you might want to use the zooming utility to work away too thick lines or lines that don't fit in. Next time when you have a pokemon with black eyes, when the picture is computercolored, dothe same thing with the eyes, they'll look more lively because of that. And the ornaments could use some shading.
(Hey, don't get me wrong, I do like your pictures, but I'm just saying what could be better, it's not mend to bring you down or something ;-) )
