I finally figured out how to convert videos! But not videos you download from a random website. I've figured out how to download and convert videos from YouTube.


First, go to YouTube and find the video you want to download. Copy the link and go to KeepVid. Paste the link, choose the website, and click Download (change the file extension to .flv. Then, go to this website and download the free Video Converter. Open the program and click New Task. Choose the option, and follow the instructions.

WARNING - this free download will only last for 15 days, after which you must pay for it. I have scanned both websites and the downloaded converter - they are virus-spyware-and adware free. I would uninstall it after two weeks to be safe about avoiding the payment. Also, this does not work with Private Videos. However, it can be used for almost any website that has a video on it from what I know.

On the plus side, it means I can watch Chobits and Pokemon on my iPod!
