Yes of course. Harley loves every guy. But his obsession over May is just too funny. Plus, it's funny and cute when the two are together.
Cookieshipping works on a bizarre fanfiction level, such as Harley being so obsessed with hating May that he somehow eventually falls for her.
Its both creepy and amusing, and would probably make May think he's even more ****ed up then he is already. Either that or he would toy with poor May and essentially drive her to madness.
Yeah, I admit it works. There definitely is the appeal, especially since May never really seemed like she hated Harley even after he tricked her, and she does blush over him in the Saffron Contest.
