Tomarrow is said to be the release of intel's core 2 duo processor line. I'm so exited I'm about to pee myself. But with intel finally beating out AMD in processing, AMD has made a move to fight off intel and bought out ATI. Also to combat intel, AMD has said that they plan to lower the prices of all their processors. I am a die hard ATI fan, and if AMD now owns them I'm still going with AMD for my next PC, but I wonder if AMD and ATI's new alliance means that this will be the end of AMD mobos with Nvidia's chipsets?
 
Yum... I love that. Means I can finally get a decent upgrade I've been dying for.

Competitive marketing at it's best.
Eh there's pros and cons, but With ATI and AMD working together, we may get some good powerful stuff in
the long run. (That is if they don't screw up in the short term)
