Another set of images from CoroCoro were recently released, revealing more information on Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver. The things shown here include new artwork for Dr. Utsugi, Silver and the female Rocket Gang Underling Member. Sprites for both the characters Gold and Silver can also be seen.

They're not roaming, they just appear in the wild.

Groudon and Kyogre roaming?!

If they roamed it would be sunny one moment and boom rain the next. ALways raining on water routes (making them expand and flood places) and land so dry you'd die of thirst. They are not roaming.

I wouldn't say that. The starters (and likely a few other Gen III Pokémon) probably won't be available in HG/SS. Also, there is the possibility that Gen V, for whatever reasons, could be incompatible with the past titles forcing a clean start ala Generation III.

This is kinda cool to hear =D My Rayquaza may have another partner in battle loLXD And it sounds like the game will be full of stuff to do, so it might end up lasting longer (on average) than D/P/Pt.

RSE are already incompatible with the DSi. Its a safe bet that once the DSi completely takes over, all the GBA games will become obsolete, especially by the 5th gen.

I'm glad they're putting Hoenn legendaries in the game, hopefully they they do something where there's a bunch of wild Hoenn Pokemon ready to capture in HGSS for people who don't own the GBA games.

The fact that people thought nothing from Hoenn would appear in this game was ridiculous, the GBA games are now fairly old and Gamefreak need to make its Pokemon accessible to new fans.

People were just being purists and thinking that having anything post-Gen II would ruin their precious remake. :/

While odd that legendaries that have been established to play a vital role in keeping weather steady in one region are now roaming another. Now what the hell's going to happen to Hoenn? xD;

Seriously, another chance at Kyogre and Rayquaza's fine by me. I don't see why people are being such Gen 2 purists regarding HGSS - FR/LG had plenty of non-Gen 1 stuff in it.

On the bright side, all the lil' kids who wished for snow this Christmas will finally get their wish.
Unfortunately, Santa Claus is still skipping them because he doesn't like islanders.

Anyway yeah, here's hoping we'll get a Jirachi event and some Gen III swarms. If before the E4, all the better. Perhaps I can get some use out of those phoning trainers after all...~

What I was referring to was the beginning of generation III, more so, the clean slate players started with because the games were incompatible with the Gen II. Something like that could easily happen with the transition from Generation IV to Generation V.

This is all ignoring the fact that there doesn't have to be a "need" for the remakes in the first place. If GameFreak wants to remake generation III, if it seems like people will buy it, then they will.

They put Ho-Oh and Lugia in FRLG and there were still GS remakes...
