It's really uneeded to act like you're the only one that knows about the scan and new trainers... when the thread was created because a news article about the scan was posted. It just makes yourself look like an idiot. The link's there for a reason aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

...Back on topic, I think the girl looks really cute. Kris was probably my least favorite out of all the female playable characters (she had a kinda weird design but that's just me), so I think the new girl looks really cute. XD

What happened to Crystal...?! ;___; I mean, the girl is really cute and I can imagine playing with her but... Crystal was my favourite. *Bawl*

Edit: And I know that Crystal was designed for the crystal game, but she is the Johto girl!

Hm. Seems Notchie's gonna be involved as well. And in Ilex Forest, too.

And Pichu's a walker just like Chikorita and the starters, so... they all must be (or at least the base-level, evolving Pokémon).

Rip the art for Gold and have it uploaded on Archives as HGSS_Gold.png by tonight plz.

I am! The new girl would've been better to save for the fifth gen. This is just wrong... Crys even made anime cameos FGS! And yeah, I might be biasing over this because Crystal was my first Pokémon game, but whatever...

Crystal/Crys/Kris = new Kasumi.

Gold's design looks really cool btw! No more shorts, that's great.

Nice to see Notchy actually involved in the games. Kinda figured that it'd happen eventually.

CoroCoro reveals tidbits on HeartGold and SoulSilver: New artwork, screenshots revealed

Today, Filb.de recieved scans of the June issue of CoroCoro. The scans reveal more information about HeartGold and SoulSilver. There will be updated Ken Sugimori artwork for the Generation II Pokémon, as the stock art for them no longer matches the modern artwork of the three other generations. Instead of redesigning Kris, the female player character from the Generation II games, a new female character was created.

I'm kind of dissapointed that they're not bringing Crys back, but at least the new girl looks good. She does resemble Crys, though; I guess Sugimori had her in mind?

Her hat is so adorable! TvT I wish I had one similar to it.

Not a shiny Pichu, an EVENT shiny Pichu. Gonna be the same deal as with Regigigas and Shaymin in Pt.

I call the new girl being known as Soul, as she's the Gen IV counterpart to Gen III's Leaf as Gold is the Gen II Red.

I'm a little disappointed that the female player isn't Crys, but the new girl is nothing I can't live with. She looks more like me, anyway. o_o

I love the male player (I guess his name is Gold?) and I'm glad he hasn't changed too much. His has always been my favorite design out of any of the game characters.
