Tthis thread is more of a place to discuss these points (below), than it is to spam about whether leaks are here (that gets pretty annoying, tbh):


  • what you want to see
  • what you expect we will see (not necessarily the same as above)
  • what the leaks actually consist of when we get them; but, once clear scans translations are up, I'd recommend taking the topics to their own threads (if they exist), however.

Basically, while the scans are leaking, you can discuss them here. Until then, you can speculate or discuss what you think we could/should get from them.



ONLY POST IN THIS THREAD IF YOU'RE GOING TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE DISUCSSION. POSTS SUCH AS "WHEN WILL IT LEAK?" "HAS IT LEAKED YET?" ARE POINTLESS, AND CONTRIBUTE NOTHING BUT SPAM AND COULD EARN YOU A WARNING/INFRACTION.

whoa, nice new sig :D

i agree with you on what we will NOT see, except i do think there might be more new GL's.

i think we'll get a new pokemon. a real brand new one.

and i think ice thing will be saved until in-game. maybe. evidence points to that, though.

evil team for sure. more new characters in general. um....gosh, i have no idea. but i know i'm excited. i'll be ready to do big nice scans tuesday morning if there's still only crappy pics by then.

What we will see:
I think we will get the new Pokemon, but I'm not trying to have high expectations, I can see us being trolled by a new form or something yet again.

Maybe a bit more on the new Global Link features

Information about how Kyurem changes forms, though I wont be surprised if that isnt in the magazine as well.

More Pokemon from the Unova Dex

What I want:

Tao trio info/how Kyurem changes forms

A new Pokemon if shown

More Gym leaders if there are any

Info on the enemy team, whether Team Plasma or a new team

Im not expecting all that much.

I think there's the possibility of unveiling SOME of the new areas under the ice, just enough to satisfy our apetites until next month.

I definitely agree that we will receive some information on who the villains are this time around. Even if it's just a page spread where we see artwork for the male and female grunts, as well as a brief description of their goal. Then we'll probably get a bit about a new feature or two. I also expect that we'll some of the old Pokémon being added to the Unova Pokédex, through screenshots and such.

I predict someone will only take a picture of the cover and wait a day or two before actually opening the damn magazine and showing us what's inside.

What I want:

-Evil team reveal.
-More info on the new routes and towns, as well as some more insight into that ice on the map.
-Another gym leader or two.
-Genesect reveal.
-The return of following Pokemon. The feature can be turned off, which is how it was hidden previously.

What I expect:

-Everything listed except for Genesect and the following Pokemon. Realistically speaking, the new Pokemon will probably be spiky eared Pichu 2.0 instead. *groans*

Now, my fandom hope is that the screenshots and videos we've seen so far are merely betas and the real game will include Walking Pokémon like HGSS (or the feature can be turned on/off), which will be shown this month or next month.

Shame it won't happen though.

I expect info on the new evil team and some Pokedex scans of some of the returning Pokemon we know of already or more new ones.

Definitely expecting more info on the movie theater thing, although I can't say I'm too interested in that after the disappointment of the musicals that was in B/W, I hope the movie thing is much better.

I'm not expecting a brand new Pokemon, don't want to get my hopes up because I have a feeling it'll just be a new form. Also new information on the villain team, and if there are anymore new gym leaders I'm sure we'll see them too. I would like them to unveil the ice, but I'm just don't think they will.

Remember, Coro Coro is having an entire separate booklet for B2W2 stuff so we should get a lot of info if its anything like the B/W one (which I think had around 15 pages of brand new information).

Hopefully evil Team info, and whether they are Team Plasma or not. Small hint on their goals.

Kyurem info, I want confirmation on the (obvious) relationship between it and Reshiram/Zekrom and the role that it plays in the Tao Trio. Maybe even explain how it changes formes.

Pokemon Movies, and them hopefully being epic.

The coverage should span at least 15 pages if the Black and White booklets are anything to go by. Among other things (that are safe to expect), I think we're due for information about the AR Seeker, regardless of whether or not the bird silhouette pertains to the new Pokémon scoop. There will probably be a page about the Keldeo event, but hopefully that will include an explanation of the Musketeer trio's role in the new story.

What do you mean? Nothing was leaked on May 10th in previous years.

Yeah, Coro coro were leaked the 12th May for HGSS & BW.

Imo, I just expect some Team Plasma's information.

I don't know why but got a feeling they will come Thursday! But the chances are low! :*

on Pokejungle there are some unconfirmed spoilers! who is interested can see what's going on there!

I don't know how soon to the release it was for Platinum and Emerald, but I'm personally hoping for the unveiling of a new Battle Frontier, with one or two new brains revealed. I've only just gotten the hang of the EV/IV bull, so I'd like to try a frontier out for reals.

Things that are most likely to appear in this months issue:
  • Tons of screenshots of new areas and stuff
  • New characters and artwork
  • Pokemon that are in the Unova Dex
  • New game features and improved and updated returning features from BW1
  • Another pointless distribution event (you know it's coming)
  • Something about Keldeo/Meloetta (you know it's coming as well)
Things that MIGHT appear in this issue:
  • A new gym leader or two
  • Information of what the plot is going to be about (other than the obvious "Get 8 gym badges, win league" plot since this IS a Pokemon game)
  • The villian team (nobody said it was Team Plasma, but I hope it is Team Plasma)
  • Unova Battle Frontier
  • More info on the new routes and towns, or what has changed in the old routes and towns
Things that are highly unlikely to be in this issue:
  • What's under the ice, or if the ice is even real or just there on the map to cover up spoilers
  • A new Pokemon we've never seen before (Genesect has yet to be officially revealed, and honestly, it's going to be a while before even a single, let alone multiple Gen 6 Pokemon are revealed)
  • N/Ghetsis returning (not until the game is out will that be answered)
  • Walking Pokemon (don't even count on it)
