Could someone with R/S/E test something out for me?

Can somebody test something for me?

I'm trying to see if it's possible to create a defined area on Route 119 where Feebas can be caught, through the distribution of a specific "Trendy Thing" in Dewford Town.

As we all know, there are six random squares on the water of Route 119 that contain Feebas, but those squares change whenever Dewford's "Trendy Thing" changes. Does that mean that the six squares depend on what the Trendy Thing is? If that is the case, we could get players who are having trouble catching Feebas to enter in a certain "Trendy Thing" and then go to a certain square on Route 119 and easily catch Feebas, without having to tirelessly search themselves.


I have successfully found a Feebas on my own and I need to see if I could give someone else instructions to find one. Please, follow these instructions and tell me if you were able to catch a Feebas:

1.) Go to Dewford Town and change the "Trendy Thing" to "NON-STOP LISTENING."

2.) Go to the lower portion of Route 119, and surf over to the yellow area shown below.

3.) Face the red area, and use your Super Rod to fish into that square.

4.) Do it 5-10 times, or until you encounter a Feebas.

5.) If you encounter a Feebas, please tell me. If you do not encounter a Feebas, tell me.


If you do encounter any Feebas, we will have discovered an easier method of finding Feebas, through the distribution of instructions.

(I'm not sure if this has been done before)
 
I believe that it's already known that the squares are chosen randomly every time the phrase changes.
 
But are we sure that it's actually random? Isn't it possible that a certain combination of two words could equal a certain combination of 6 squares on Route 119?

There's no knowing until we try, and if it works, people won't have to waste as much time getting a Feebas.

I am so sure that people before you have tried, and that is how they came up with the conclusion that it is rerandomized every time the saying changes.
 
I think the only way to get it the same on multiple versions is to either get really lucky, or mix records.
 
Alright, case closed. It was worth a try anyway.

I'm sure the only way for it to work is with the Record Mixer, as BlazikenEX said.
