Could the show get a title change before movie 12?

I made a similar topic a few months ago, but I think it's worth revisiting.

If you look at the trailer (and can read Japanese) you'll see that Platinum has been added to the end of the show title, just like in the first movie 12 trailer at the end of the movie 11 one.

So once again I ask, could the show be getting a title change? It seems odd a movie would have Platinum in the title, but not the name of the show itself. If the show were to get a title change, it would make sense to happen after the League/Grand Festival.

So now Nando has 4 ribbons, Dawn/Zoey/Kenny has 3 each and Jessie has 2
Ash has 5 badges, Paul/Jun have 3 each (Paul: Roark, Maylene, Fantina / Jun: Gardenia, Byron, unknown badge) and Nando has 1 (Gardenia)

Satoshi will be getting his 6th badge on Christmas Day. That leaves two badges, two ribbons, a Pokemon League, and a Grand Festival to fit in in 6 months. The show seems to be moving at a faster pace now. It sounds like Satoshi could get his 7th badge in February or early March at the latest based on where they are in the DP116 title, and Hikari could get her 4th ribbon by then as well. Let's say another two months for badge 8 and ribbon 5, and the league and grand festival following soon after. They could have everything wrapped up by July which is when the new movie will premiere.

Could this be what the writers are planning? Will the show really get a new name? What do all of you think?

As I said I don't think they'll start a new series again
It's strange to start a new series randomly at the middle of a journey (and I don't belive the 25-30~ episodes left from now to July will cover the rest of the journey)
The only two times they started a "new series" was in:
* AG:
- the beginning of a new generation
- the beginning of a new journey
- the first time we got someone to star together with Ash (while she didn't seem so equal like Dawn, May kind of starred with him as second-to-Ash in importance)
- a change to the plot from just Gyms to Gyms and Contests
* DP:
- the beginning of a new generation
- the beginning of a new journey
- the first time we get two totally equal stars (Ash and Dawn) and a new mascot (Piplup)

AG and DP deserve to be called a new series as you can see... but now at the middle of a journey (and also if let say they end Sinnoh and begin BF/whatever as you say) is it really should be considered a new series?

If they do start it as a new series despite how I don't think so (I think they throwed the "Platina" in the trailer to both advertise the game and cause us to get excited for the movie possibly being related to the game) than I hope Dawn will get her Platina outfit (they always change clothes at the beginning of a new series, Ash can once again "steal" Lucas' outfit... if the plot logically change to match that of Platina's than they can explain it's cold so they had to change)

I thought it deserved its own thread because it involves the TV show more than the movie.

I agree that a filler arc doesn't deserve a title change, but it seems odd they'd add Platinum to the movie but leave the TV show as is. I really don't want everything to be that rushed, but it seems the show is heading in that direction with Satoshi's next gym battle being so soon.

I think we all agree Gligar evolving and Urimoo's capture happened too fast just so they could get the teams up to date for the movie, and I think the same type of thing is happening again.
