Could there be a "Senior" World Cup after the league?

Whenever there's a Junior in the title of a competition, there's always a Senior that comes after it. If there isn't a Senior, then why would somebody bother putting Junior in the title unless it's something related to age?
 
Funny, I thought the "Junior" part was referring to how it's precursor to the Unova League. Like Unova League Jr. Especially with such a crowded, crazy cast of trainers & pokemon (even Gym Leaders & Elite 4 members are getting in on the act!)
 
Well, there might be, but it wouldn't be enough to fill a whole year. More than one, each being higher than the last? It would have to lead to something significant in that case. I still don't like this idea that well because it sounds like what this whole saga's been doing when they have nothing else to fill time with: Don Battles. If this is the real reason the opening showed us Drayden and Marlon, though, there might be something.
 
Three in a row is too much. If there would be a Senior/Champion cup, then have it come after a small arc of breather episodes.
 
Maybe, they have to do something about the huge gap between this region and the next one unless they're planning to end the anime, which I'm sure won't happen.
 
I could only see it happed if Ash wins the Unova League or wins the WTJC and qualifies in that way!

If their doing the champion league then Ash's victory at Orange Islands and Battle Frontier should qualify him.
