I am curious how many Dittos did you guys caught in Gen V since it's pretty easy to encounter.. I caught about 135 Dittos and gave up since their ivs are getting worse compared to the previous one, worse still.. They occupied two to three boxes of my pc.. And it's amazing that I only caught one Adamant nature Ditto out of 135.. :disgust:

I just Pokeshifted Dittos from 4th gen, but there is a benefit to RNG capturing 5th gen Dittos since they can have any Nature / IV combination. I would think it'd be a bit easier to chain Dittos in D/P since they are much lower level, but whatever works.

2 in Black and 2 in White; one in each for breeding purposes and one in each for trading for Eeks the Rotom (near to Nimbasa City).

I just use a synchroniser to get the nature i wnt..
I had approximately 170 of them..
Currently i have ditto with:
31 ivs hp :2
atk:1
def:2
spatk: still searching :-(
spdef:1
speed:1

I release all which are not needed..

Haha.. Just see if anyone has that patience.. You know it's not an easy job if you are not prepare to catch wild Ditto? XD

Lol, didn't bother to use Synchronize as I went to Giant Chasm just for lvl up while catching them.. XP Yea, I did released the ultra noob ones.. But couldn't release many of them.. DX Thanks God I manage to get one perfect IV each in 135.. XP

What team do u use for catching?
I use
volcarona lv 96
crustle(lead holding smoke ball)knows only honeclaws and stealth rock
I just lead with crustle,waste a turn till it copies me and gets sturdy without any attack and then switch to volcarona and just hit bugbuzz/psychic to activate sturdy and catch him at 1hp using repeat ball..
Remaining slots are for synchroniser or drifblim knowing fly..

Do u have one spare 31 ivs in spatk?

Wow.. I didn't thought that far.. But I didn't really prepare a team just to catch Ditto.. I have 3 battle-able, one in-training, 2 pick up-er.. One which is Aimbipom lvl 25 and one Lillipup.. I switch to Lillipup which let it copies the catch rate.. Then just 2 Double Hit with Ambipom hoping my Ambipom survives till then.. I have 4 of it.. Drop me a vm if you want, I can give you one.. ;)

I just caught two... the first one I caught had 31 HP IVs and the second one I caught I used to trade for a foreign one. I'm too lazy to try to catch any others :p

and i used it on the in-game Rotom trade :p
though i do have 2 foreign ditto, one from S. Korea and the other from Japan..i know having 2 foreign ditto is redundant but sue me, i'm keeping them both :p

Though my main Ditto catching cart is FireRed. I had a whole team set up just for the purpose of catching ditto in Cerulean Cave.

I caught two.
One for breeding (It's loving all the attention it's getting at the day-care)
The other one I traded for that Rotom (Eeks)

This is exactly why I caught two of them.
 
Two, but I released them all as soon as I got my Ditto from Platinum.
 
Two. Only things in Black that I caught more than two are around 50 Litwicks hunting for modest nature and around 10 Milotics for trading.
 
I caught about 11 or 12 I think because I wanted ones with good IV's. Kept all the ones with the acceptable IVs and released the rest. It's worked out pretty good, so far I've breed an impish vullaby with 31/hp 31/def 31/sp.Def and I'm working on a modest snover with 31/hp 31/def 31/sp.Atk and 31/spe
 
Around 12, all with different natures for breeding purpose.
 
Haven't caught any in Gen 5. But I did transfer my perfect Ditto and my former main Ditto (I think)
