As i recently posted a thread about struggling in Double battles (Which is now resolved). I wonderd if there were any moves which could be activated to stop pokemon such as yanmega as using there speed boost ability.I'm asking as i have a Alakzam that is increadibley fast and can easily one shot yanmega with psycich, the only problem is it use's detect and then manages to out speed my Alakazam and blast it with signal beam. I thought of using venusaur's Worry seed, but are there anymore better moves that can stop strong fast abilities such as speed boost?:-/
 
Skill Swap and gastro acid. Skill Swap would be better though.
Also mould breaker works if you have a rampardos.
 
I have both so cheers i will use the skill swap idea, i'l check what pokemon can use it. I'm in the process in training my Red gyrados :)
 
Indeed, When i can get my Wi-fi to work ( i need to buy a nintendo USB attapter) i will battle you and show you :)
 
I know this is off topic in the thread but how does a Pokemon get the virues that gives its states massive increase's?

You either need to have one pokemon with pokerus or get it via GTS/trade or wild pokemon. Its random when you get it and you won't know what wild pokemon has it. If you have not got pokerus on any pokemon before, when you go to Pokemon Center and heal your pokemon, nurse Joy will say your pokemon has pokerus. When it goes you'll see a tiny :) on pokemon that means that pokemon can't get it again. If you box a pokemon with it, it remains acts like a "pause" for the pokerus which only lasts about 2 days with a pokemon in your party that has it.

To get other pokemon to get it, put them in your party with the pokerus pokemon and walk around/battle pokemon, check and you should see your other pokemon get it. My first pokerus was on a wild aron in Sapphire, next it was rayquaza in Sapphire! I was surprised.
