Do you have an idea for a Pokemon that you just need to tell someone?
'cuz i do...
Then this is the thread for you!
Post any ideas you have for new Pokemon, whether it be an evolution or pre-evolution of an existing Pokemon (including Megas), or a concept for a brand-new addition to the ranks of creatures! You can post things designed for competitive play, a piece of artwork, or a bit of lore about it. You don't even need to have a whole concept; you could even ask for help developing it, if you need it.
If you would like, I can put your ideas into these archives:
...for easy access!
I'll start with a concept I had a while ago, as an example:
Katreon: Flying-type Eeveelution
p.s. if someone could do a little drawing of katreon for me that would be really nice because i suck at art
thanks
also i would immortalize you in this post forever

I'll start with a concept I had a while ago, as an example:
Katreon: Flying-type Eeveelution
Name: Katreon
Type: Flying
Name Origin: Derived from "Katrina" (as in Hurricane Katrina) with the suffix -eon
Evolves from Eevee when leveled up with max Happiness and a Flying type in the player's party.
Katreon is a small mammalian quadruped with sky blue fur. Its underside is a much paler, almost white shade of blue. It has has a fluffy mane-like scruff about its neck the same color as its belly, the lower end of which blends into the pale markings. The top of the mane stretches out, running down Katreon's back and forming swirling structures that resemble clouds. A pair of large wings normally lie folded against Katreon's body; when Katreon takes flight, they unfold to reveal soft white feathers. Its tail consists of three long, closely-spaced feathers, which trail behind gracefully during flight. Katreon's muzzle is curved and more closely resembles a beak.
Katreon's soft, pale, downy fur let it camouflage itself as a cloud during flight, which makes it easier to escape potential predators. Katreon is also incredibly agile, being able to outmaneuver nearly anything in the sky. Though it is normally timid by nature, if threatened, it reveals vast aerial fighting skill.
Stat Spread (in format of HP/Atk/Def/SpAtk/SpDef/Spd):
65/95/65/60/130/110
Abilities: Gale Wings/Fur Coat (HA)

Competitive analysis!
Katreon is an incredibly versatile Pokemon, able to utilize both offensive and defensive movesets thanks to its two great abilities; in addition, its excellent mixed bulk (when running Fur Coat), good speed tier, and workable attacking prowess make it a very threatening and unpredictable opponent to face.
Set #1: Physical Wall
Katreon @ Leftovers
Ability: Fur Coat
EVs: 248 HP/8 Atk/252 Def
Impish Nature
- Roost
- Cotton Guard
- Toxic/Thunder Wave
- Brave Bird
This set aims to wall every physical attacker in existence. Not only do you have Fur Coat to double your physical bulk, but you have a move which will more than double it every time it is used! In addition, Katreon has excellent special bulk as well, so it can wall some special attackers. Roost provides reliable recovery, and Toxic allows you to stall things more easily. Thunder Wave can be used over Toxic if the rest of the team has Toxic covered. Brave Bird is so you can have something to do if you're taunted or can't set anything up. The EV spread allows Katreon to maximize it's physical bulk while minimizing the damage it takes from Stealth Rock.
Set #2: Special Wall
Katreon @ Leftovers
Ability: Gale Wings/Fur Coat
EVs: 248 HP/8 Atk/252 SpD
Careful Nature
- Roost
- Taunt/Protect/Substitute/Toxic/Thunder Wave/Cotton Guard/Brave Bird
- Taunt/Protect/Substitute/Toxic/Thunder Wave/Cotton Guard/Brave Bird
- Taunt/Protect/Substitute/Toxic/Thunder Wave/Cotton Guard/Brave Bird
Specially defensive Katreon is interesting because it has so many different options it can run. The choice between Fur Coat and Gale Wings depends on whether you want a prority Roost or the ability to not be completely helpless against physical attackers. Roost is mandatory because of its defensive value; however, you can just about run any combination of the other moves.
Set #3: Talonflame 2.0
Katreon @ Choice Band/Sharp Beak
Ability: Gale Wings
EVs: 252 Atk/4 Def/252 Spe
Jolly/Adamant Nature
- Brave Bird
- Wild Charge
- Rock Slide/Superpower
- U-turn
Behold, Revenge Killer Katreon, the usurper of Talonflame's throne of best priority user! It still sports a better attack stat when using Jolly, which is typically the better option if Katreon needs to use a coverage move (which will not happen often). Between the recoil of Brave Bird and Wild Charge, Katreon should be use strictly as a revenge killer, and particularly wants hazards removed due to the switchy nature of revenge killers.
Set #4: Swords Dance
Katreon @ Life Orb
Ability: Gale Wings
EVs: 252 Atk/4 Def/252 Spe
Jolly/Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Brave Bird
- Wild Charge
- Roost/Tailwind/Rock Slide/Superpower
Pretty much a generic sweeping set. After you've boosted with Swords Dance, Brave Bird is your main move, since it is STAB and priority; Wild Charge provides decent coverage alongside it. There are a couple of options for the last slot. Roost provides recovery so that you can come in and setup multiple times during a battle, and Tailwind doubles your speed, potentially supporting your teammates while allowing for a better sweep. A bulkier spread can be run with both of these. Rock Slide and Superpower round out Katreon's coverage, though be careful when using Superpower as it can prematurely end your sweep.
