I'm holding a fanfic contest today!
Create any fanfic you want, as long as it's G-rated.
You will be graded based strictly on the following criteria:
1. Plot
2. Characters
3. Setting
4. Description
5. Spelling
6. Grammar
7. Punctuation
8. Syntax
The grades of each can range from the following:
A+++
A++
A+
A
A-
B+
B
B-
C+
C
C-
D
E (or F depending on the grading system used: USA uses F's for the failure grade, UK, Japan, and Austrailia use the E as the failing grade)
Exceptions to the G-Rated Rule:
If your fanfic is not G-Rated, note the correct rating on the Title or before beggining your fic, and if there's objectionable content, put a warning on it.
If it's chapter-based, please send the completed chapters for the entry into the contest.
Remember, not every fic will pass, so the best ones, provided they're completed works, regardless of whether they are chapter based, get a spot on a thread titled "The Winning Fics of The Create-Your-Own-Fanfic Contest" followed by the year. So for example if the year were 2006, the thread would read something like:
"The Winning Fics of The Create-Your-Own-Fanfic Contest '06".
That's exactly how the contest works and if your fic wins and it's chapter based, send me all the chapters of your fic in one Private Message so I don't have to sort through every private message to find the chapter!
Judging is done by me and Lightning Topaz, so please PM your questions to either me or Lightning Topaz.
