The two fire lizards from two different fandoms meet in open battle!

Who wins? Charmander, from Pokémon, or Agumon, from Digimon?

Who do you think is better, ignoring battle prowess?

Design wise, I'd have to stick with Charmander; it's more sleek and doesn't have that wrinkly thing going on (or Savers/Data Squad Agumon's creepy nostrils). Not to mention the fact that Tom Fahn's voice sort of ruined Agumon for me in the anime T.T

Agumon, but the real battle here is WarGreyMon VS Charizard.

Considering every Digimon can have a plot Digivolution and become [NAMEMON] BURST MODE, and be ten times stronger, I say Agumon.

At those evo-stages, I think it'd be a draw. But if they pull all stops Agumon is going to win, as one of the few known Digimon who can go even above Mega-level.

Digimon and Pokémon were both substantial parts of my childhood, though I grew more into Pokémon in the end. Design-wise, these two are actually really even, save for perhaps Charmander's tail flame giving him an edge. Both of them have potentially very potent evolved forms, though Agumon would probably outdo the Charmander line in its later stages. The deciding factor, then, is who is stronger in the stage that they're in now. By their comparative natures, Charmander would have a more versatile fighting style with its number of moves, which could give him the edge over Agumon. A fight between them may just come down to who has the better tamer/trainer backing them up, though Digimon appear to be better at fighting without human guidance than do Pokémon. It's too close, so I'm going to call it at a tie.

Interestingly, neither of these are my favorites to represent their series (though, to be fair, my favorite characters tend to not be the main character of their respective series).
