Kudos to Tv Tropes.
Anyway, what is your moment of awesome, something you were really proud of you did in a Pokemon game?
I beat Lance with a level 5 Rattata. Nuff said.

F.E.A.R, I assume?

Mine? When I hear Youngster Joey say his Rattata Rules, and then I beat it to hell.

When I caught Ho-Oh with just ONE ultra ball. Good old times. Also, when I happened to get pokerus.

Everytime I beat a trainer that's really confident or full of himself. And when I finally beat Whitney for the first time. And pretty much every tough GL.

I caught Shaymin in Platinum and Suicune in HG with 1 Ultra Ball each.

Yay, Tvtropes!

Anyway, mine was fighting Red in Gold. My three best Poke's were down. What did I do? Beat his Pikachu with my last Pokemon, a Suicune. Who happened to be about 20 levels lower. All I needed to do was Roar until Charizard came out, Curse to max power, Rest, and Return everything to death in two hits.

Oh yeah, I got a shiny Dratini from a trade. It was holding a Master Ball. Nuff said as well.
And my current moment of awesome: I fight Gentleman Alfred in HG over and over with an Amulet coin. I now have 116 Full Restores and 103 Revives, plus a full team of level 50 Pokemon. Time to take on the Elite Four!

>epic battle with Red
>Spike the Nidoking and the enemy Snorlax are the only ones left standing
>Spaming earthquake the whole time, chipping off about 50HP each time
>meanwhile, he uses Giga Impact, takes of 1/4 health
>Crunch, I'm at about 2/3s now, Poison Point takes effect on Snorlax
>Blizzard, I have litterally 1HP
>Crit with final Earthquake
>'...! Red gave out $30000 for winning!'
>My face -> :smokin:

-Finished Lt. Surge's Raichu with a low leveled Rattata in FireRed (without F.E.A.R.)
-Caught the Red Gyarados at full health with an ordinary Poke Ball in my old HeartGold.
-Obtained 4 shiny Pokemon in my old Platinum

I caught my first Shiny, not including that Gyarados. I beat my brother :D

And when I defeated Red. All my training and grabbing Gym Leader numbers paid off. He wasn't even that hard XD

I beat Norman's last Slaking in Ruby with a level 10 Seedot. All his Pokemon would do is loaf around, while I tackled it a thousand and three times.

-In FR, when I captured Moltres with a Pokeball the first time I tried it.

-When I defeated 2 of Dahlia's Pokemon with a Rhyperior at 2 HP in Platinum.

-When I beat Morty's Gengar with a newly caught, lv. 13 Snubbel in SS.

I beat Lance with Dragonite at 1 HP and using Dragon Rush on his Dragonite and killing it

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon.

Primal Dialga.

I was underleveled, and the battle consisted on setting up Light Screen and healing my partner Cyndaquil and myself trying to survive...
But I couldn't do it much longer, as I quickly ran out of healing items.

Roar of Time defeats my partner but is revived by my only reviver seed, I am left with about 10 HP and Light Screen fell. We weren't going to survive.

So I fired a Razor Leaf as a last attack.

It did about 200 damage.

I have no idea how did that happen.

When I ACCIDENTALLY caught a shiny Budew in Platinum. Now an awesome Roserade, to be exact. Here's the story:

I was going to catch a Nincada in Eterna Forest, so I ran to tell my friend as I left Eterna (I love Shedinja) I accidentally tripped on a cable, which bumped me into the bottom left corner of a patch of grass. Shiny Budew. Can't stop thanking the cable.

Pokerus in Gold Version! It was so late at night, and I had never heard of it before. I thought it was a dream when I woke up the next morning, and I was like "how strange, Pokerus, just another weird dream of mine."
NOPE, turned on Gold Version, BAM! Used Bulbapedia, research, good stuff, that Pokerus.
