A while ago, I was in Dark Cave, just wandering around. Then a Pokemon appeared. I was thinking "Not another Zubat...." but it was no Zubat. It kinda looked like a transformed Volbeat. I ran from it, not wanting my game to be affected. I have never used anything on my Crystal Version (mainly because it is my first Pokemon game)Does anyone have a clue on what this might be???

You should have specified that. Seeing as how this happened two years ago, we don't have an accurate depiction of the event. It's the same as the person who swore up and down they saw a red Weepinbell.

Dunsparce, anyone?

I mean, c'mon, it says its name on the battle screen. Twice. Wild X appeared! And it's up in the top left corner.

I checked my Crystal Pokedex. I've never seen Dunsparce. That's sad, now that I think of it. It had the collar like Volbeat, and the nose. It was fatter than Volbeat, and it had smaller wings. It also had cream antenna's. That's what is in my memory.

It could have been a Ursaring. That's my best guess. Or maybe a shuckle. But, what your giving us only fits Dunsparce perfectly.

Hum, really?? I wonder why it's not in my Pokedex; it's number doesn't have anything in it, unlike other Pokemon I've seen (not caught)

Seen Shuckle, Ledyba and Ledian. This is really weird. The only pokemon I have to see are Suicune and Raikou (accidently fainted Entei with Flame wheel, took one hit :O), and the 2 birds of Gen II

I'd look at the list of Pokemon that CAN appear in Dark Cave and go from there.

Probably Dunsparce, and the reason it's not in your dex is because you shut off the game in worry and forgot about it.
