Cynthia & Milotic return for the Pokémon 30-Year Celebration in Pokémon Masters EX, plus Brendan, Ethan, and Leaf debut new Variety Sync Pairs

Pokémon Masters EX is today giving players a chance to pair up with Cynthia (Summer 2025) & Milotic in the latest set of rallies as part of the ongoing 30-Year Celebrations. Also launching today is the debut of Brendan & Salamence, Ethan & Gyarados, and Leaf & Beedrill in a new set of Variety Scouts, plus the return of Gloria & Zacian in Monthly Poké Fair Scout Vol. 49.

Pokémon 30-Year Celebration Rallies for September
As discussed in the recent message from the game's producer, three separate rallies are commencing today for the Pokémon 30-Year Celebration.

Receive in-game artwork by viewing a returning Story Event
The Threads of Strength Story Event is returning to the game until December 31st, at 7:59pm (PST). This special run of the event for the 30-Year Celebration includes only the Story, and does not include any battle stages.

Team up with Cynthia (Summer 2025) & Milotic by completing Special Missions
This set of Special Missions will be available until September 30th, at 10:59pm (PDT). Simply logging into the game will award players with Cynthia (Summer 2025) & Milotic. All necessary items to raise them to 6★ EX and unlock their Field EX Role can then be earned by leveling them up and using them in battle over the course of the month.

Receive a Gem Present each month
All players who log into the game before September 30th, at 10:59pm (PDT), will receive a gift of Gems ×1000.

Variety Scouts
The Triple Feature Variety Scout and Variety Tiered Scout will run through to September 14th, at 10:59pm (PDT), while the associated Variety Guaranteed Ticket Scout will continue until September 21st, at 10:59pm (PST).

Brendan & Salamence, Ethan & Gyarados, and Leaf & Beedrill are each being released with an expanded sync grid, the ability to be raised to 6★ EX, and the ability to unlock a EX Role when raised to 6★ EX. As Variety Pairs, these Sync Pairs do not have EX Styles when raised to 6★ EX, nor their own individual sync pair stories.

As normal for Variety Scouts, 5★ sync pairs have a 7% chance of appearing in these scouts.

The Triple Feature Variety Scout includes a daily discount, where players can perform a single scout for ×100 paid gems. This daily discount can be used once per day during the entire length of the scout. The first three times players perform a Sync Pair Scout ×11 for this scout, they will also receive the following bonus presents:

• 1st-3rd Scouts: Move Candy Coin ×1

The Variety Tiered Scout has five tiers, each of which is a Sync Pair Scout ×11. Players are able to scout once on each tier by using Paid Gems, with the amount of gems increasing with each tier. Additionally, Tiers 5 grants the player an additional in-game reward.

• Tier 1: 1,000 Paid Gems
• Tier 2: 1,500 Paid Gems
• Tier 3: 2,000 Paid Gems
• Tier 4: 2,500 Paid Gems
• Tier 5: 3,000 Paid Gems - Variety Guaranteed Scout Ticket

The Variety Guaranteed Scout Ticket, as the name suggests, can be used in the Variety Featured Ticket Scout to randomly team up with either Brendan & Salamence, Ethan & Gyarados, or Leaf & Beedrill.

Monthly Poké Fair Scout Vol. 49
Monthly Poké Fair Scout Vol. 49, featuring Gloria & Zacian, is available in-game now and will remain available until September 30th, at 10:59pm (PDT). Gloria & Zacian last appeared in the Monthly Poké Fair Scout in Vol. 28, back in December 2024.

As normal for Poké Fair Scouts, 5★ sync pairs have a 10% chance of appearing in this scout. The first five times players perform a Sync Pair Scout ×11 for the Monthly Poké Fair Scout Vol. 49, they will receive a bonus present of 3★ Friend Key ×15. These keys allow players to increase the Friendship Level Cap for a single Guest in the Trainer Lodge by 10. This Monthly Poké Fair Scout also includes a daily discount, where players can perform a single scout for ×100 paid gems. This daily discount can be used 1 time per day during the entire length of the scout.
