I am sure if you played Pokemon Diamond/Pearl/Platinum before that you had to face that daunting Cynthia with her team, as shown above. Her team is the recipe for disaster, one wrong move and your done essentially. Especially against her Garchomp. That thing will use any of it's moves properly and smartly. Spiritomb is tough i guess with dark Pulse, I don't mind Spiritomb all that much

The Milotic tho can be a pain to kill with Surf and her recovering move

what do you guys think though. Do you like Cynthia?

I really liked Cynthia because it was super fun to have a challenging female champion, and besides I was completely shocked when it turned out she was the champion.

Cynthia is my favorite champion in the series, so yes. She has a good team and a great battle theme.

Cynthia is quite possibly the hardest boss in any of the Pokemon games, at least in my experience. Plus, she's pretty neat as a character, too. Probably not my favorite champion, but high up there.

She's easily one of the toughest main story characters I've ever had to fight. Her team is very well-balanced and few of my Pokemon could survive a Dragon Rush from that Garchomp, so I had to mostly rely on the chance that the move would miss to take the monster down. Also, that battle music tho. It's by far one of the best Game Freak's ever churned out.

She's my favorite champion of all (as if my username didn't clarify that already). Her team is well-balanced, her music is to die for, her strategies are fierce, and she has a really good character. She's easily one of the toughest characters in the series. She also has value to the overall plot (especially Platinum), being more than just a figurehead in the games, taking an active role in various scenarios throughout the game. Plus she was the first "real" female champion in the series (female player character doesn't count), and they did a good job with her. Too bad Adler, Iris, and Diantha did minimal in their games (especially Diantha), though Steven in ORAS managed to pick up the slack.

But in any case, yes, I like Cynthia a lot. She was easily one of the best Champions the games have had, if not the best.

Steven Stone will always be my favorite Champion, and Red will always be my favorite Super Boss, but Cynthia was an absolutely thrilling battle. Fantastic theme, fantastic challenge, and the Champion of my favorite Pokemon game. She's smart, she's tough, and she'll kick your tuchas if you're not careful.

She is my favorite female Champion in the series.She has a diverse and balanced party,a great battle theme,not to mention hot looks.I really liked her cameos in non-Sinnoh games as well.

Her and ORAS!Steven are my absolute favorite Champions. I like Alder too, better than Iris and Diantha for sure. But Cynthia will always be my #1 for Champion.

I'm almost certain that she's the most popular and well respected Champion in the franchise. Be it for her strength, her beauty, or even her being a history nerd.

I like her for all of the above.
