Your father decided that she would pass these words to you as encouragement. You are an attractive 16 year old woman with the name of Ashley. You have a lovely figure with long honey blonde hair going down to your shoulders. You have brown eyes because genetics. You are as fashionable as the great and amazing @Lyrebird and you are ready to start your Pokemon Journey.

Ashley lives in Pallet Town with her father. His job is assisting the New Professor Oak after the old one went crazy and decided to go swimming naked in Fuchsia and was not seen since. It is assumed that he drowned or is still swimming naked. Her mother ditched your father to run off with Janine because well Ashley still has no freaking clue.

Anyway.

Your father screams in your ear. "Get up Ashley, you are about to undertake the biggest journey in your life since you learnt how to use the toilet" It was a big adventure. Your response was one who couldn't be arsed getting up which is totally like me on a weekend especially after a night out...you know you think you would get used to but nah you are still suffering from last night.

Oh right.

Do you....

a) Get up, get ready and go to Professor Oak's lab after eating a healthy breakfast and get your starter Pokemon.
b) Tell your father to wake you up in 82 minutes because why not?
c) Go to your neighbour's house and play Mario Kart 64 on the N64 for about 2 hours
d) Go talk to that fat guy who likes to talk about how amazing technology is and then slap him.
e) Go Fishing.

So anyway Ashley decided to get ready and go to their neighour's house. His mother greets her with food from around the world including a banana. "Have a banana, darling," She treats you like her children as she has quite the soft spot for you.

"No thank you," Ashley declines as she walks upstairs to see her neighbour. Ashley has a little crush on her neighbour and thinks that he looks like Tom Cruise for some reason, well I guess he does. "Hiiii!!!" She greets him with so much perk that it scared the heck out of a little Pidgey on a tree.

"Hey Ashley," He greeted, his name is Ethan and you are pretty tight with him mainly because he looks good. He does however have a N64. "Here for a rousing game of Mario Kart 64?" He asked.

"Naturally,"

You picked Bowser and he picks Yoshi. You battle through the Star Cup with Wario Stadium being too easy for you after you took the shortcut on the 7th attempt, Royal Raceway was pretty cool, you hated those penguins in Sherbert Land and Bowser's Castle was ruined because Luigi hit you with a shell before the final jump. You came in 2nd after Ethan.

"I get to pick the starter first," He said in triumph because the winner got to pick the Pokemon. Did I fail to mention that? Yes, yes I did.

Anyway you both go to Professor Oak's happy lab and she smiles at Ashley and Ethan. Yep it's Daisy Oak and she has only one Pokemon left. Great...maybe Ashley should have woken up in time. Oh well stuff happens and life goes on.

Ethan gets a Bulbasaur. WOOO!!!

Daisy Oak says that she has no Pokemon left for Ashley, so she just sits and waits for an hour before she got a Pokemon

Ashely is a keen fisherman to use it in a gender neutral term by Fisherpeson is too long. Anyway Ashely starts to fish and there was no bite.

Everything was going well until a fisherman who was drunk and totally reeked of alcohol, came up to her and said "This ain't a rod, this is," With that he pulled his pants down revealing an actual rod. She wondered how comfortable it was to keep a rod next to his genitals. It doesnt matter because he fell into the water after stumbling.

Ashley called out her Aerodactyl to help the guy but it was like eh. So you see the Coast Guard saving the drunken fisherman. So you continue to fish and you got a bite. It was a Magikarp and she threw it back in the water with a sigh. So Ashley tosses the Magikarp and then found another one with an Ultra Ball on it.

Ashley took the ball and the fed the Magikarp to Aerodactyl. He happily ate it before falling asleep.

c - Ask the Coast Guard to take you to Johto.
