If this was already discussed, I'm sorry, but did Cyrus just die or something? xD What an idiot.

I honestly...it's confusing. Whatever happened, he erased himself from the universe.

I know on Pokemopolis they keep talking about a line about the new creation being undone, which would have been fatal to him, but there's a few things...I've only heard about that line on that site (a friend even watched the episode and said she didn't hear it) and also it doesn't seem to match what was going on. If it was accurate and the new one was really taking space from the current universe, it would have been billions of light years already. And that would have certainly been noticed by people outside the mountain. And if the new creation was shrinking in on itself from a lack of energy feeding it, it would have been getting smaller, but the only thing that seemed to be was the portal. So even if it was said, it seems to still be incorrect.

It's odd. I think people only think that I say this because I'm a huge Cyrus fan, but this is a seperate issue that just happens to involve him. I honestly think that the new creation didn't terminate itself.

What that means for him, however, remains to be seen. Certainly the history of the show has indicated that there would be air and no need for food, but it's also indicated that space is very very cold. He might have frozen to death. Or he might be forever adrift, which is even worse than dying.

I haven't seen this episode yet! D8; C-C-Cyrus DIES in the anime?! No, how awful! The manga was cruel enough to kill of Maxie, but the anime spared him...w-why not the anime, too?

Yeah, he did... kinda.

He jumped into the new universe, it closed behind him, then Palkia and Dialga destroyed that universe, thus giving Cyrus a really cruel but equally cool death.

Isn't Archie's word all we have to go by on that? And pfft, like Special would really kill off anyone for keeps. Death is a temporary setback in that series. It's the Dragon Ball of Pokemon.


And Ryuu, it's also thought that it was only the portal that was destroyed.

Nah, since these creatures created the universe Cyrus went into, I'm thinking they can also destroy it.

It sure looked like that's what their goal was.

It likely depends on what the shiny thing was, because it looked to me like it was just the portal, for the reasons I stated above.

I want to believe they totally annihilated him and the entire universe.

It would be easier on him, easier than drifting powerless for the rest of his natural life, but I just don't see it being the case.

It's difficult to really say.
Cyrus jumped into the universe Dialga/Palkia created. Naturally, he shouldn't have lived for more than a few seconds because a human being cannot survive the vacuums of space.
Also, Dialga and Palkia kinda *destroyed* that universe, or at least the portal to said universe.
Let's just say that either he is stuck in that universe alive or dead.

I really think they destroyed his universe..
So, to me, Cyrus is dead.
The portal probably would have just closed if Dialga and Palkia didn't do anything.
But... after being freed, it looked like they were destroying it.

Cyrus was just a little too scary for me. His face looked like a skeleton. I bet he comes back though x.x
 
He has gone to a new universe where rules of physics reversed enough to allow him to survive.

Joking of course.

actually the universe was falling apart because they could not finish it and they tried to finish it but failed
 
Once Cyrus entered the portal, he arrived on Party Island, where he partied for the rest of his days.

There.
 
But by "Party Island", he meant "Whore Island."
