Have you guys heard of the SuperContests yet? They say with the touch screen you can dress up your pokemon. That will be really cool!

Yeah, there are 3 parts to the super contests.. I'm not sure how much I'm going to like it at this point. At first I was thinking the costumes were the best thing ever because I could make the googles Pichu from smash brothers.. but it seems like the costume pieces may be randomly put out at the begining of each contest and you have to find the best pieces threw a bunch of common ones.

I hope they have something like contest stores that let you buy the accessories seperately, I also would like to be able to dress them normally so that you see them in at least the stats screen.

The other mode is some kind of rythm mini-game, which seems different. I don't have much of a clue to how it works, and the idea of entering 4 at the same time seems kind of a lot. It may turn out fun though.. Of course the last is the appeals mode. Personally I would have wanted the judged battles to be in the super contest too, but oh well.

I just have a feelling that I'm going to need to play it before I actually completely understand it.

My impression of it is that you control the front Pokémon and the three behind just copy. I might be wrong, though.

As far as I know, contests don't use the mic.. um I'm not sure how they could use it with what they have anyways (unless you yell dance commands or something)

That's what I thought at first but in the latest video it shows pikachu missing, and it was a back-up dancer. Though, maybe its based on new stats, and the dancing part is just setting up a routine while the AI runs it automatically.

i was under the impression it was like most dance games. the moves show up on screen and you press the right buttons. i was also assuming you control the pokemon at the front and the other three are the other trainers pokemon...

Any news on if there's more than one Contest hall or if it's like Emerald?
