Hello, anyone know when the new sinnoh, shinoh or w/e its called season starts here in the US?
Will it imedeately follow the ending of Battle frontier here in like a few weeks?
Or maybe it'll start around the release of the D/P game?
Thanks for the help.
Oh yah I saw the date with delcatty ep. the other day and that made me wonder if Misty will ever come back, I never noticed she like says she might visit her friends again...then again it was an old ep I think?... yah think there will be any chance of her being in the new D/P series?

Nice forums BTW

Misty's not coming back, sorry to say. :p (And if a guy named Scott comes in here and starts to rant about what a good thing that is, just ignore him.)

No one knows when D/P will start in the US. I personally would hope it would start around the time the game were released, preferably on April 28th (the first Saturday after the release). Another possibility is in fall.

I think the Fall is it. NewBrock mentioned something on Serebii about "months and months of reruns" after the episode where Ash and Gary battle---the last AG episode.

Misty will likely be seen a few times this season but not regularly, no chance of that happening.

Fall, obviously. Although according to the number of episodes, the first four DP eps might be part of Seasons Nine, and peple will assume those are part of Season 10 JUST because they have the Theme Song FROM Season 10.

Yes, I'm hoping for the "months and months of reruns"!! ^^

After season 9/Battle Frontier is over, I'm definitely going to need that time to think things through and figure out what I'm going to do about season 10......

I just hope that, by that point in time, Sarah will have improved to my expectations, and her Ash will be much, much better than he was at the end of season 9.

However, if Sarah's Ash still doesn't reach my expectations at the beginning of season 10, then well, I'm gonna be sad/upset again, and I'll have to sit through another bad season (by my standards anyway).

Curse my attachment to the dub version! Curse my attachment to the original VAs (not that that's a bad thing, mind you, it's just - if I weren't as attached to them, or to Veronica, then this whole VA switch would be MUCH easier for me to handle).

And by the way, sorry for my little rant with this post. I was just blowing off some steam, that's all. Last week was kind of hard for me, and I was going through a difficult time (no, it didn't have anything to do with SOVA or the VA switch - it was something personal that I was going through - it had to do with my life at the dorms, actually, roommate problems to be more specific).

Hmm . . I hope not the fall. Although, I have no clue what happened with the R/S release for the games and the anime so I couldn't say? But I'm assuming that it's going to be more towards the fall, rather then in May just because Summer isn't usually planned for new episodes? I don't know.

I don't know how CN runs seasons, but people seem to think that every season of pokemon must be 52 eps. This would mean the current season ends with DP05, if I remember. New Brock would know, though, so I don't know what to think. For them to delay the beginning of DP by months makes no sense to me. I mean, what was that whole rush with BF about, then?

My thoughts:

1. CN does what KidsWB did with Pokemon Advanced (season 6). They had the premiere of the first two episodes of that season, during the Master Quest season. Those two episodes didn't have dub titles at that point, however. But they were indeed the first two, actual episodes of season 6.

My prediction is that Cartoon Network could air the first two, or rather, the first five episodes of season 10 after the last Battle Frontier episodes air (I keep hearing that that the first 5 episodes of season 10 are in Battle Frontier). This would "kinda" be the same thing that KidsWB did, because it would give the fans a preview of the upcoming season, before the new season actually starts......

2. It's very possible that Pokemon USA could be planning to start season 10 either right before, or exactly ON the day that the games are released (which would mean season 10 would be starting sometime in April, since the games will be released on the 22nd).

My guess is that the whole "rushing" thing of Battle Frontier must've had something to do with the VA switch.

But actually, if that is the reason, then that makes even less sense...... O.O

April 22nd is a Sunday. They have the perfect opportunity to air something on the 21st, the day before release.

So is Cartoon Network the only station that airs pokemon anymore? (I recently got back into the series after leaving off after like before the orange isalnds series and a whole bunch a Sh*t has changed) and I remember it used to be on wb or something? Is there any other stations besides Cartoon network that air pokemon anymore? as i need to get caught up. It would be nice if you could include the time that the shows come on...if possible. Thanks in advance.

Yeah, Cartoon Network is the only station that airs Pokemon nowadays......

KidsWB used to air Pokemon as well, but when the whole company/VA switch happened, KidsWB didn't wanna have anything to do with the new voices. So that's why they dropped Pokemon from their lineup (well that, and the fact that KidsWB took all anime shows off their lineup as well). Of course, after what happened with the original Mastermind special and how bad that was, I don't blame KidsWB for taking Pokemon off their channel. Heck, with the airing of that one special, that alone probably caused a HUGE LOSS for the network.

Anyway, the channel Boomerang was airing Pokemon, season one, for a while. Though that didn't last very long, because they aren't airing the show anymore, unfortunately.

And as far as other seasons of Pokemon goes, Cartoon Network is still airing Advanced Battle (season 7). But it only comes on weekdays at 6:30 AM (Eastern). I have no idea why they made it come on so early in the morning. O.O

Also, CN airs Battle Frontier multiple times throughout the week. Though, I don't know the times for when BF airs, since I don't watch reruns of BF. Dogasu would be able to give you that information. Actually, back when Pokemon used to air on both KidsWB and CN, Dogasu would give us the schedule for each month.

Bull.

KidsWb cancelled Pokemon, so new eps will only be on Cartoon Network.

And Misty is a done character, she's been a done character for 4 1/2 years now. Don't expect her to make a cameo in Shinou like she did in Hoenn either, because back then they had Togepi's story to resolve, this time she has no loose ends left over. The two girls who replaced her actually have a plot, so I see no reason to talk about the past.

Misty probably won't be seen again until three years from now, when Ash returns to Kanto.

Hey, you might call that bull, but that's the truth (I think, someone can correct me if I'm wrong about something).

I heard that info from some news article or news release about KidsWB that was found, back when everything first happened.

From what I gathered from google, Lisa, is that kids wb canceled the whole lineup of all there saturday morning anime at the time, like : pokemon and yugioh etc... "Because of a great decline in viewers" apparently...
thats what all teh news articles i found said anyways...

No they weren't. Address Unown and Mother of All Battles were. Those were the first two episodes of "Pokémon Advanced", however.

Actually they got rid of all their anime to focus on in-house productions. Hence Viewtiful Joe being dropped as well.

Err well, XD, I count the official start of Pokemon Advanced as season 6. In other words, I go by when they start the new opening in the dub, and I count that as the new season.

I know that with the way the Japanese do things (since they don't have seasons like we do in the U.S.), the seasons don't actually start with that season's title name. They start like, 10 or 12 episodes before the "actual" start of the season, which is weird.

But that's just way too weird for me. I'm sticking with the "this season has this episode in it, because that episode has this theme song" way of doing things. Yes, I know that's technically incorrect, but it makes things less confusing for me. ^^o

You see, if I were to stick with the correct way of doing things, then "Address Unown" and "Mother of all Battles" would be in season 6 (even though that doesn't make sense, because they have the Master Quest theme song, but I guess that doesn't matter apparently when it comes to episodes and seasons and how they relate to each other). And all along, I USED to think that season 6 started with "Get The Show On The Road". But yeah, if you see what I mean, everything is just very confusing when you look at it the correct way......
