Ok. It is december 17. Christmas is but one week away. I live in fucking Canada, which as the world know is an arctic nation where people live in igloo.

And the ground is covered in bright green grass. Migratory birds are flying north. Plants are beginning to grow, and the bears are wide awake.

Where's my winter, damn it?

It's been in the high sixties all Winter for me as well here in VA.

-_- It's been warmer then it was for alot of Fall.

Yeah it's unseasonably warm here in New Jersey as well even though that's way further south than Canada. On some days it's been around 16 Celsius -_- when it should be around -16 Celsius as a minimum.

We've been up in the mid 10s (14-16, etc) a few times even up here in Québec lately, too.

That's late september/early/mid-may weather, not mid-december!

Ah, I forget that you aren't using the Farenheight Scale. XD

Either this is the result of global warming or......
I dunno
It's gonna be 60 degrees here tomorrow and it's almost Christmas. As I said the other day on the chat, "White Christmas my ass!"
Next thing you know, palm trees will start sprouting out of the ground.

What's funny was how cold this fall was. People around here were saying how this winter would probably be the coldest Georgia's had in years, but... nope. Weird. XD

It's the dam jet stream being in a dam zonal flow that's damming all the dam cold air in the dam Northwest Territories, Alaska, and Eurasia dammit. Couldn't dam resist. XD

Seriously, it's down right frigid in those parts. But you know, all that cold air will eventually cold down in either a massive cold wave which will keep us frigid until the spring thaw or trickle down and give us a cold spring.

Yeah, we're cold over here. Winter seemed to come in quicker too, though that might be just me.

I'm going to use the experience of previous years to assume that a White Christmas still isn't going to happen. (Especially since that idea comes from a time that is considered an Ice Age.) On the plus side, the roads will be better for it.

You said it brother! Where's the freaking snow?!
We usually get a 3 incher by Mid December in and around the metro area, but nooo it had to be warm and none of the jet streams want to cooperate.

Well, if not for Christmas, perhaps I can hope for a flurry by at least my birthday (which probably isn't happening since it's 3 days after Christmas and the weather looks mostly mild through next week.) :/

Well the Pacific Northwest got lucky, they were practically bombarded with snow earlier this month as well as much of the US while the East Coast has been basking in Caribbean warmth. Sure our Fall was a bit cooler than average, but there wasn't any strategic moisture around when we needed it; most storm systems just plain fizzled out thus none of the pleasant white stuff. Dang it, why does the weather have to be so out of whack this year?

Weather here is quite predictable. It's just a question of whether it will rain or not, how many times, and when.

And we cannot forget El Nino is alive and well. So that will screw up the entire world's weather.

Stupid El Nino. Stealing our hurricane season wasn't enough :(

Well, down here in Singapore, we have been getting so much rain you could honestly think someone let loose a Kyogre here. It has been going on since at least two days ago, and the rain either thins out or stops, only to become heavier half-hour later. Previously, it wasn't this bad, but a few days before this rain came about, we started getting sun-showers and smoking roads, and the weather was switching like every 5 minutes.

We had 60 degree temperatures over here until about Tuesday.

The weather's bad, I complain, the weather's good, I complain...

Stupid Indiana weather. (Though things are getting back to normal as of late. And Indiana normal=crappy)

The day I start driving at 6:00 in the morning, it's freezing. -_-

This years' fall-winter period was pretty peculiar: it started with a shy rain this november and the tree leaves began falling down at the end of the same month. What I find strange is the fact that this year i haven't saw any coloured leaf on the trees, only green(even this fall).
Now I'm quite concerned that I'm not gonna experience a White X-Mas this year due to a weather of about 10 degrees C (which isn't normal for a South-East European Country like Romania and adding the fact that it's the middle of December)
