What a horrifically tragic turn to an event that should have otherwise brought so much joy.

Rest in Peace, and my deepest condolences to Dan, their friends and family during what must be a horrible and confusing time.

Dan and his family are in my prayers. :-(

Dan and his family is in my thoughts and prayers. We should also congratulate him on the birth of his children.

Does "news" like this really have to be on bulbanews? I mean, it doesn't exactly have much to do with pokémon or Nintendo. It's not like his wife provided any voices for the dub or anything.

Also, how is it breaking news? Wouldn't breaking news be more something among the lines of a new pokémon game or something like that?

I felt so terrible when I read this. What a terrible tragedy to happen... My heart goes out to the family and Dan Green.

My prayers to Dan and his family. What a horrible thing to happen.

No, but Dan himself did. And even if neither of them did, he's a big part of the anime dubbing community as a whole. I don't think something like this needs to be justified as "news" - a man had a huge tragedy strike what should have been a momentously happy occasion, and trying to argue that we shouldn't recognize this as "news" is very insensitive.

It may affect the amount of time Dan spends acting for the dub because he is now the only living parent of his children who are still very young. I also think this is a horrible thing to happen and I give my condolences to Dan and his family.

This is something terrible... I have no words. All my condolences to Dan and his family, and all my hopes for the newborn twins.

my god.. poor guy so sad... are the babies okay? bad enough he lost his wife but his kds as well would've been cruel

At least the kids are okay... it's terrible they lost their mom though... lost my Grandma this week so I guess I can relate to the loss

Oh my god. I'm so sorry for your loss, Dan. Best wishes to you and your little ones. :(

I heard about this news yesterday. It is so tragic that he lost his wife like this and at such a young age as well. I feel so sad for Dan Green and the rest of his family. I hope that they're doing okay and that he has taken come comfort from all of the emotional support from his friends, family members and the comments from that guestbook. I'm glad that his children are okay. It would have been even more heartbreaking and crushing for Dan if he lost them all at once like that. I pray that he and his family will be able to deal with their grief and that those infants will be able to get so much love and comfort from their family throughout their lives.

What an awful event for Dan and his family, I offer my condolences to him, and I hope for the safe health for his children and himself. =(

Kinda agree with Mijzelffan here. Sure it might be "big", but it doesn't have much to do with Pokémon specifically to show up on Bulbanews. It's just related indirectly.

Anyway, yeah. A tragic loss.
