Dang Over-Leveled Sinnoh and Hoenn Pokémon!

OK, OK, Some people will disagree with me but I think that the Game Makers of HeartGold and SoulSilver just threw in some overleveled Sinnoh Pokémon so you could finish your dex. Well, that's so very clever(!) Why, I love battling a Level 47 Bidoof, Starly and Shinx(!) If they wanted us to complete the Pokédex, make these Pokémon catchable. Ridiculous. Level 47 BIDOOF. WHY NOT BIBAREL OR SUMMIT? God, I don't get these game makers! What do you think about this crazy overlevelling?

(DP?)Pt had Lv47-50 Pidgey, Roselia et al. as well. Granted, Johto is overall lower-leveled, but still, this isn't that special. And don't tell me you have problems catching a mere Bidoof... I'm quite sure its catch rate is near to 255, just chuck an Ultra or Dusk Ball (at night, obviously) to it.

Erm, I read wrong. Anyway. Their base stats suck, shouldn't be that much of a problem with Lv40-ish Pokémon.

Wouldn't they also give a little more experience...? Since they're trainer pokemon and those give out more experience?

Sorry if I got this wrong, but your post doesn't really mention where this is at nor mention they're trained.

So...maybe they're just there for the experience.

But you do have to trade to finish the pokedex, having trainers owning them allows you to see them and enable you to then trade for them on the GTS.

there are Sinnoh and Hoenn Pokemon in the safari zone that are up in the 40's i found a zangoose in there like at level 43. and a level 45 seedot 0_o

I battled that same person in HG. It was because you had beaten Johto. ALL the trainers have higher leveled pokemon in Kanto!!! :sweat:

Fair point, but it's not that annoying. It's the same thing as underlevelled evolutions like Weezing in the Safari Zone or Lance's level 40 Dragonite. That annoyed me most. I mean, level 50 you can get away with, but level 40?

Well this is blog material if I ever saw it. You have the Sinnoh games to catch these guys. And when has Pokemon ever evolved pokemon when it should? Just walk through Bugsy's gym sometime.

Besides, they're super weak so there is no reason to whine about it.

I think it's better that they're higher leveled. It'd be kind of boring battling someone with a Lv. 10 Bidoof, especially after beating the League.
