Perfect Lie is a dark and deep story that concerns the life of a young woman and her experiences with the nefarious Team Rocket and the things that they had done with her and the others they had taken for their experimentations. They are known as the 'Furor Children'. However... she and her Furor brother continue to look for a cure while also encountering many different things that turn their lives upside down from the ones they had grown up with before this time. However, they're now stuck with one another and do their best to keep themselves under the radar and safe from recapture.

Not everything is as it seems with these people who look innocent on the outside. Deep down, they're conflicted and are battling something a lot greater. This comic explores a lot of the darker things that could have gone on within Team Rocket with some scientific fiction that's also been put into the story.

Perfect Lie is ages 16+ for gore, language, and what could be considered ideologically sensitive material. Updated every Thursday.

*claps hands together* ... Well then... all right, now that that's out of the way, yeah, this kind of my own shameless promotion of my more serious webcomic that I'm hosting on SmackJeeves. C: And I would have posted this in my art dump thread, though this is really a separate project altogether and should be separated from the dump rather than in it.

**For my more light-hearted and more comedic webcomic, please refer to Kaboink! -- a newer webcomic of mine and hopefully will appeal to a lot of gamers. C:

Anyways... this webcomic is more of my explorations of Team Rocket and delving deeper into things that they may have been into -- especially after considering the experiments with Mewtwo that I'm sure almost every Pokémon fan has seen in the first movie that was released. That aside, I'm also not wanting to make a story that's rainbows and butterflies like the normal Pokémon series usually is. I want to appeal to a more older audience and hopefully have them think about what does or does not seem plausible. :U

Anyways... here are some pages that I've gotten uploaded -- I release pages on my SmackJeeves every Thursday. Unfortunately, I'm recovering from a bug that hit me back in February... thanks to that, I've been uploading as many pages as I can that I get finished to Perfect Lie in hopes that I can get it regulated again. I'm very close to that point. C:

As for those pages. XD;;

Oh, come now... you didn't really think that I'd post the complete pages up here, did you? XD What the heck would be the point of my trying to promote my webcomic to get fans on SmackJeeves if I did that?

All that aside... if people decide to check out the Perfect Lie site on SmackJeeves, then please, if you like it, become a fan, rate and comment on the pages. C: It would mean a lot to me. XD And I also love receiving comments from people -- especially constructive criticism. Not to mention that I would love to get feedback on my edited CSS that I refined (unfortunately, I can't say that I made it even though I'm capable of doing so primarily because I need to pay for my webcomic in order to have my own CSS XD).
